A Message from the Lord for You

March 18, 2020

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6-7 NIVUK.

“I am all that you need. Do not worry today. Do not be anxious today. I am all that you need. Don’t look to man. Don’t look to a company. Don’t look to money. I am all that you need. When you press into Me, you will see all that I am for you. I will provide for you. I am your peace. I am your calm. I am your joy. I will help you get it together. When you need comfort, I am there. Focus on My kingdom and give Me all the rest. Focus on Me and give Me all the rest. I will handle what you can’t handle. I will do beyond You can ask for or imagine. I need your trust to be put in Me” says the Lord.

A Message from the Lord for you!

March 1, 2020

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” 2 Corinthians 9:8, NKJV.

“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.'” Mark 9:23, NKJV.

“I am the God that is more than enough for you. I have everything you need, and I am all that you need. My desire is that you do not struggle, but My desire is that you receive the kingdom. My desire is that you not only see it but that you receive it into your hands. Do not settle for nothing less than My best for you. Believer Me for greater. As you go after what is before you, believe that I will bring it to pass. Lift your hands and believe. No more of the less. Believe Me for more. Believe Me for more victory, more income, more wisdom, and more consistency. You will not stay where you are. Believe Me to help you through the tough times and know that the light is just ahead. Believe Me for Greater!” Says the Lord.

Come Learn of Me

February 8, 2020

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” Matthew 11:28-30, NKJV.

If you decide to join a millionaire in how they live, it won’t be long before you become one. They will mold you and teach you all of the disciplines and secrets to obtaining wealth. You will even learn intangibles by observing them, by hanging around them in meetings and just by merely being in their presence.

When you decide to be meek and learn from God’s Word, you are deciding to learn from Him. When you decide to pray, ask questions and hear what He has to say about how to live, you are walking with Him. You are deciding to come join and learn life from the best–Jesus Christ–and the Master will teach you if you lose your life for Him, you’ll find it (Matthew 10:39). He’ll show how to handle what is before you, walk by faith and live victorious. You will find a mighty rest for your soul. He will mold you into the man God called you to be. No one can change you like the Lord.

Whatever you may face, let nothing detour you from learning from the Lord. He will walk you right through it. You will always arrive at His will, His strength, and His blessings for you.

Prayer: Father, You are God and Creator of all things. You are King, You are love, You are strength, You are wisdom and You are peace. You are all that I need. My desire is to walk and learn from You. Teach me many things today Lord. Disciple me and change me into being more like You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Call it done!

January 29, 2020

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” Romans 4:17, KJV.

God calls those things that aren’t, as though they were. He calls it as He sees it, not how it appears. It will be as He desires in your life, not your enemy. He says you who are before your life began. He calls you rich while you have a small amount in your hands. He calls your marriage fixed while it appears to be broken. He calls you strong when you feel weak. According to His will and ability, He calls it already done.

Be like your heavenly Father. Expect and believe the battle is already won for you. Rejoice before anything happens. Say your financial needs are met before it materializes. Say you are healed, in spite of the symptoms. Your marriage is fixed, even if it appears broken. Say you are strong and excel in all things, although you feel weak. Call the way already made. Call it done!

Confession: I a man of faith, and I have joy today. I will not dwell on the problem. I will not dwell on the enemy. I will dwell on my faithful God. I will imitate my heavenly Father and call it done! I call myself victorious! I call my marriage healthy and working. I call my financial needs met. I call my children blessed. I thank my heavenly Father now for all He has promised me. I expect and believe the battle is already won for me. I praise my God, and I call it done. Hallelujah!

Laugh and have a joyful heart.

January 7, 2020

“Then he said to them, ‘Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength’ ” Nehemiah 8:10, NKJV.

“A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones” Proverbs 17:22, NKJV.

The joy of the Lord is your strength. With all of the responsibility and the work we do, even the work we do for God, can have us so driven that we become unbalanced and unhappy. Some of us have experienced some tough times in our past, and we don’t laugh like we use to.

Let up a little. Relax and enjoy the goodness of the Lord. Rejoice over all the great things he has already done for you. Don’t be so focused on looking for a blessing, that you forget you are already blessed. You can laugh and have a merry heart, which is good for you. Above all, you are in His hands. God has it all under control. Let nothing outweigh the joy of the Lord from operating in your life.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word. I want to experience happiness and joy in my life. I desire a merry heart like I use to. Help me Lord to lighten up, trusting You have it all under control. Regardless of my situation, help me to always feast on Your goodness and stand on Who You are. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

He’s the Potter of Your Life

November 17, 2019

“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand” Isaiah 64:8, NKJV.

“And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make” Jeremiah 18:4, NKJV.

A potter doesn’t rush their work. They take their time. God is the potter, and you are the clay. He is taking His time. Don’t rush the process. Don’t get off the wheel. Stay in His hands and continue to let Him do the work He is doing in your life. Sometimes, it’s not pretty, but nor does a pot look that way in the process. Yet in the end, the potter makes something great and what you didn’t know that was possible the potter could do. So is the Potter of your life.

Prayer: Father, You are the Potter, and I am the clay. I will continue to do what You say. Help me to stay on the wheel. When it gets tough, help me to remain on the wheel and allow You to do what You desire in my life. I love You and thank You for all that You do. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Keep Going

November 16, 2019

“Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, ‘Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.’ And they launched out.” Luke 8:22, NKJV.

Sometimes, everything isn’t going to look like you want it to look. It won’t be how you would like it to be. Yet, those are the times you have to keep going until it does.

You can take your towel and wipe your sweat with it. You can take your towel and wipe your tears with it. But don’t throw it in.

Storms may come, and the winds may blow but have a made-up mind that you are going to the other side. You are going to have what God said you will have. You are going to be the man that God has called you to be. Your finances will be well. Your family will thrive.

Let the fragments from your last victory encourage your faith for the next one (John 6:12), and you keep going. If He said it, He’s going to do it.

Prayer: Father, I thank You and praise You. You are the Almighty God, powerful and awesome in all Your ways. I say I see my victory already. I choose to walk like a man of God today. I ask for a deep rest about it all. Let my heart be after only you, Jesus. I will keep going. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

You’ve been purchased by God: Glorify Him.

November 14, 2019

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NKJV.

If you bought a new car and sat inside of it, you would desire for that vehicle to do what you purchased it for. It’s yours. You paid a price, and you bought it for your goodness and pleasure.

Just like that new car, we have been bought with a price. Jesus paid a great price for you and me, the way we choose to treat our body and our spirit is an indicator of how we honor that price. We humbly are now God’s and we have been purchased for His goodness and pleasure.

I was tempted to look at a woman in a magazine in the grocery store line. I said, “No! Get behind me Satan!” I said I will glorify God. Jesus didn’t put in all that work to defeat sin for us so that it still reigns over us. We can reign over it. The Holy Spirit (Who is absolutely holy and perfect) now lives in us, and He dwells within us with strength for character and power. He is all that we need to live holy and experience the goodness of God.

The Lord wants us to walk in all that He purchased us for. When we wholeheartedly do what He created us for, we glorify Him. When we flee sexual sin in our body and spirit, we’re glorifying Him. When we live holy, when we are faithful to our wives, and when using our gifts for His glory, that glorifies the Father. The most satisfying and greatest joy you will have in life is when God Almighty is looking down at how you live as a man and is well-pleased.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Thank You, Jesus. I have been bought with the price. Help me to understand that price and honor it. Help me to glorify You Father in my body and spirit, which are Yours now. Be glorified in me against sexual sin and keep me for one woman–my wife. With You Holy Spirit, I can reign over sin. I can live holy before You. I declare the world will see You glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Don’t Miss Your Blessing

October 29, 2019

“And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, ‘Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.’ But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’ ” 2 Kings 5:9-11, NKJV.

Naaman wanted to be healed a certain way, and almost missed his blessing. Have you ever said God I was looking for You to bless me that way, not this way? I was looking for a woman like that to marry, not like this one. I thought You would increase me financially this way, not the way You’ve set before me. You were expecting a different gift and calling. The whole time you are asking the Father why, you could be missing His move in your life. You could be missing your blessing.

You may be looking for God in the earthquake, but He’s in the still small voice. You may be expecting Him in the supernatural, but He’s answering you right now in a simple way. Your blessing my not look like you thought it would, but if you look at it through God’s eyes, you will see it’s the blessing you’ve been praying for. Your talent may not be the same as someone else’s but it’s God’s talent for you, and it will produce the same results you desire, even more.

Pray and ask for the clarity you need. Don’t miss your blessing. You have what you need to live right now.

Prayer: Father, thank You. You just may have already blessed me and I’m overlooking it because I’m expecting You to do it another way. Help me to receive what You have blessed me with. Help me to see my gifts as You see them. I thank You for the clarity I need, and I will not miss my blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Learning to Be One

October 27, 2019

“That they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me” John 17:21, ESV.

Just as marriage is about learning how to become one with your spouse, entering into a covenant relationship with God is about learning how to become one with Him and one with the Body of Christ. Jesus prayed that we may be one as He and the Father are one, so the world would believe.

Every victory God gives you is a victory for the entire body. When one of us falls, it impacts the entire body. We are to love our brothers and sisters in Christ and restore one another in love and humility. The unbeliever is watching to see that Jesus is real and the love of God is real through our oneness. A weak oneness produces a weak witness. They will say if they treat their brother and sister this way, how can I expect them to love me? We must learn how to operate as one, how to get along and how to love and support one another in a way that pleases the Lord.

Prayer: Father God, I thank you for giving me an understanding of oneness. Help me to love my spiritual family. Redefine “family” for me. Redefine “oneness” and “unity” for me. Renew my mind LORD and help me get along with, love and support my brothers and sisters in Christ. Unify us, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It’s Never Over with God

September 29, 2019

“To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” Isaiah 61:3, NKJV.

In sports, when a team is down in a series 3-0 or down with seconds left in the game, the whole world will count them out. Everyone says it’s over. Sometimes, in life, things can feel that way.

But it’s great to know that you may can count out man, but you can never count out God. No matter what the devil says in your ear, you are never counted out with the Lord on your side. With God, it’s never over, and the best is yet to come. He takes what is nothing, and makes something good out of it. He takes what appears dead and makes things alive. You will rise from this situation better, wiser, and blessed.

Sometimes, He will allow you to be uprooted, but He will plant you in a place far better than you were. Your turn around will be so great, that you know only He can get the glory. You will look back and only be able to say only God could have done this in your life. It’s never over for the man that will trust in Him.

Prayer: Father, You are good and You are awesome. I will not count You out. I declare it’s not over and the best IS yet to come because You are on my side. I even say by faith my best is now. Steer me during this time. Help me to obey and keep trusting You because it’s not over. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

The Best Man I Can Be

September 4, 2019

“So you, my son, be strong [constantly strengthened] and empowered in the grace that is [to be found only] in Christ Jesus” 2 Timothy 2:1, Amplified.

Pray this with me today: Good morning Father, I give You praise for Who You are and there is none like You. Thank You Jesus for saving me and it is only by Your grace, Your empowerment, that enables me to live for You. Help me to be the best man that I can be. Help me to be at my best in my walk with You. Be the best husband I’ve ever been. Be the best father I’ve ever been. Help me be the best employee and the best boss that I’ve ever been. I pray in this season Your best comes out of me! Fill this day with the best of times for my life. I ask to use me to impact someone’s life in a mighty way! I am a light for You! I ask for Your wisdom and the best victories today. Help me to run my best race today and leave nothing behind. Greater is He that is in me. This man is giving You his best! I receive grace now! Hallelujah! In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

You’re in a good place

June 28, 2019

“You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up…” Isaiah 55:12-13a, NLT.

You may feel like you’re in a bad place, but you’re in a good place. Look around and see all that the Lord is doing for you. If you keep in your view the things that aren’t the way you want them to be, that the enemy keeps putting before you, you won’t see all the good that is already happening in your life.

Be still and know that He is God. Keep the good in mind. God is doing a great work in you, even now. His plans are coming to pass. Your hurdles are to be jumped over and not allow them to keep you from running the race that Christ has already won.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your word. Thank You for speaking to me this morning. You’ve done and are doing great things! I’m in a good place. In spite of what it looks like naturally, by Your Spirit I know and I see that You’re working it all out. Help me to stay reminded of all the good that is happening in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let patience have its’ perfect work in you

June 19, 2019

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” James 1:4, NKJV.

Sometimes, we wonder why God hasn’t moved yet, why something hasn’t happened, or when will God allow you to do something. Sometimes, He is simply shaping patience in you. It may not feel good at the moment, but when patience is complete, you won’t lack the perfect will of God in your life.

Patience produces priority in our lives. It establishes what is more important and needful for us. Patience produces the right perspective. It humbles our hearts to be thankful and content in God alone. Above all, God is working in you the attribute of humility, to where when He blesses you with what you desire, you are able to handle it.

Let patience have her perfect work in you. Like being in the next room in your home, know that God is in another room, working on something needful in you that you may not be aware of. He is preparing a woman for you that you are not aware of. He is opening doors for you that you’re not aware of. He is working on blessing you with something far better than you can think or you’ve asked for. He is building and preparing you for great things.

Prayer: Father, You are a good God and I have to admit, my faith is being tested and You are teaching me how to be patient. It is hard, yet it is doing an invaluable work in my life. It’s humbling me. You are God and You know what’s best for me. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Don’t wait to praise Him

June 17, 2019

“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name” Hebrews 13:15, KJV.

Don’t wait to praise Him for what He’s going to do. We may not how, but we know He will. Praise Him for what He has already spoken about your outcome. Praise Him now.

Thank Jesus for what he’s done, and for being on your side. Praise the Lord for His peace and assurance that if you are going through something, it too will pass. He’s making things right, and He makes all things new. He’s helping you move forward. Praise Him for providing the power to accomplish His will. Let your praise keep you focused on the greatness of your God, and keep you preparing for it.

Let your praise declare to the enemy that no matter what, you have put your faith in God. You have decided to stand on His word. Before He even does it, before He even blesses you, praise Him now!

Prayer: Father, I won’t wait to praise You. I’ll choose to praise You now. Thank you Jesus. I praise you for the many blessings in store. Before I even receive it, I know what You’ve spoken to me. Help me, on purpose, to open my mouth and praise You. Hallelujah! In Jesus name, Amen!

Trust God with the job He blessed you with

June 13, 2019

“The good person is generous and lends lavishly; no shuffling or stumbling around for this one, but a sterling and solid and lasting reputation. Unfazed by rumor and gossip, heart ready, trusting in God, spirit firm, unperturbed, ever blessed, relaxed among enemies” Psalm 112:6-7, The Message Bible.

The workplace can be a very stressful place. There are stressors pertaining to performance, promotion, job security, and production goals. The people you work with may be stressed, anxious, impatient, and worried about all of the above, but you don’t have to be that way.

You are too blessed to be stressed. Even at work, enjoy life. God is the One that holds every outcome in your life, not man. If He gave you that job, He will make sure you are blessed on that job. He says to all your work demands, “Give them to Me”. Simply do what you can, do what’s right, and then trust a faithful God with the rest. He is your Source. What’s most important and valuable in your life is not a company or a position, but Jesus, your family and kingdom. Your attitude of trust in God will begin to impact those around you.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise this morning! I thank You I’m blessed to even have a job. Thank You for Your truth that has removed the heaviness of stress from me. Life is short and refuse to worry about this job. I will do my best as unto You, and let You handle every outcome. Help me to have a good time at work and enjoy life. May my attitude of trust in You impact those I work with too. In Jesus’ name Amen!

Determined to Serve Him Only

June 7, 2019

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” Matthew 6:24, KJV.

Don’t make your decisions or go in a certain direction because of the money, but because it’s God’s will. Mammon will have you miss the will of God. I wouldn’t be writing if I chose the money. I wouldn’t be advancing the kingdom if I chose mammon.

Mammon in the Greek means wealth and the gain of it is the basis this world system operates by. According to mammon, wealth is the key to your happiness and self-worth, therefore, live for it. Pursue it. Mammon says let money and material possessions be the sun in your life, and all that you are revolves around them. Serve and worship me, not God.

We can’t serve two masters. Either you will love and embrace the one, and hate and despise the other. The devil through mammon will always permanently promise what it only temporarily delivers, and ultimately leaves you empty and unhappy.

Choose to love and embrace the Lord and His ways in your life. No matter how your finances look, remain strong and hold fast to seeking His kingdom and righteousness first, knowing the Father keeps His promises. Continue to do God’s will with your money, Who will bless and prosper you. You will be happy when you choose God, and He financially increased you without having to compromise Who you serve.

Prayer: Father, thank You for revealing to me the truth about mammon. Examine my heart and if I’m serving it. I repent and choose to serve You. My life will revolve around the Son. I reject mammon and my happiness will not be based on money and things, but on You and Your will for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Call It Done!

June 4, 2019

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” Romans 4:17, KJV.

God calls those things that aren’t, as though they were. He calls it like He sees it, not how it appears. It will be as He desires in your life, not your enemies. He says you who are before your life began. He calls you rich while you have a small amount in your hands. He calls your marriage fixed while it appears to be broken. He calls you strong when you feel weak. According to His will and ability, He calls it already done.

Be like your heavenly Father. Believe the battle is already won for you. Rejoice before anything happens. Say your financial needs are met before it materializes. Say you are healed, in spite of the symptoms. Say your marriage is fixed, even if it appears broken. Say you are strong and excel in all things, although you feel weak. Call the way already made. Call it done!

Confession: I will not dwell on the problem, but be a man of joy today and I will imitate my heavenly Father. I call it done! I call myself victorious! I call my marriage healthy and working. I call my financial needs met. I call my children blessed. I call my faith strong, and I thank God now for all He has promised me. I believe the battle is already won for me. I call it done in the name of Jesus, thank you Lord!

Cast your cares on Him

May 20, 2019

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” 1 Peter 5:7, NKJV.

Like an adamant solicitor, our cares call to us louder and louder to get our attention, including what we consider good things to care about. However, we end up becoming men burdened, depressed, wasting time worrying, and distracted while trying to figure out what to do.

God wants every care to be far from you. In the midst of it all, He wants you to cast your care upon Him and live a free life, full of joy and peace every moment of your life. He wants you to thrive in your relationship with Him. He will work out all of the knots you need untied in your life. He knows the sum of your needs and desires. God will not only take your cares upon Him, but He will surely do something about them all. Why? Because He cares for you. He really does care about what you’re going through.

Humble yourself and put your faith in your Provider, your Way-Maker, and give it all over to Him. Develop a habit of going to God and casting every care to Him when they arise, and be determined to live free in Christ.

Prayer: Father God, because You care for me, I thank You that I can cast my cares, every one of them, upon You. I see the devil’s scheme to load me down with cares. I will trust in You the Almighty God. I praise You now! I will go on serving You and enjoying a free life in Christ! Help me to continually stand on the truth that You do care. You will help me, and before it even works out, I thank You in advance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your Crown Awaits You

May 15, 2019

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” 2 Timothy 4:7-8, NKJV.

We are to love His appearing. We are to be on the edge of our seats awaiting Jesus’ coming. There is nothing preventing Jesus from coming back at any time, even today. This helps keep everything in your life in perspective, and all of your labor of love for God is not in vain.

Yes sometimes it is tough being a man of God, yet it is good fight–a victorious one! Like Paul, continue to fight good fight of faith, and let your crown you will receive encourage you. Keep loving God and loving people. Listen for His voice as if you will not hear Him again. Obey God as if your life and calling depend on it because it does. Lay aside every weight and any sin that so easily ensnares you. Set your affections on things above and finish your course. The eternal reward of the Lord will be great, and your crown awaits you.

Confession: I give up what this world has to offer. I set my heart and my eyes totally on the Lord. I will obey God like never before, loving the appearance of Jesus Christ. When He comes, I will be ready. I have been given His grace, His empowerment, for my race. I am encouraged today! When I finish my course, when this life is over, I have a crown of righteousness and eternal rewards awaiting me. Thank You Lord!

You’re More than a Conqueror!

May 13, 2019

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” Romans 8:37, NKJV.

To conquer means “to overcome and take control by use of force. It means to gain mastery over or win by overcoming obstacles or opposition, even to conquer or climb a mountain successfully”. Yet to your mighty God, this definition isn’t sufficient enough to describe who you are through Christ that loved you. He called you more than a conqueror.

The Greek meaning for more than a conqueror is “properly, exceedingly conquer, being more than a conqueror, i.e. a ‘super-conqueror’ who is ‘completely and overwhelmingly victorious’.” God didn’t make a mistake when He called you this. He didn’t exaggerate or stretch the truth regarding who you are. He put a lot in you, and most of all, the Lion of Judah lives in you.

Therefore, be affirmed that you can exceedingly conquer. He has made it proper to declare that you not only have the victory, but you have a complete and overwhelming victory over the wicked one, over sin, anything unlike God, any spirit of fear, or any tribulation. You can get back up because you are a super-conqueror!

Boldly charge your faith today. Receive in your heart today that you who God says you are and walk in it.

Prayer: Father, I thank You and I receive your affirmation of who I am in Christ. This man is more than a conqueror! I’m just like Jesus. Yes I am, and I can completely dominate over whatever I face. I can rule over this flesh and its’ desires. I know who I am and I receive boldness from You Father to walk in it. I am more than a conqueror! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Count it all joy!

May 5, 2019

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience” James 1:2-3, NKJV.

As you wait on God in faith, you give God room to bring His great plans for you to pass, no matter how long it may be.

Your faith is the substance. It is what’s in your hands, and although God allows it to be proven and tested right now, count it all joy! It may not feel good right now, but count it all joy. Call it joy because He is working on your behalf, and your situation is working for you also. You may not have what you desire yet, but you without question have the God that you will receive it from.

It is a good thing when the mighty fruit of patience is produced in you, because with patience on your side, what promise can you not receive from the Lord? What victory can’t you have? One thing the devil doesn’t like dealing with is a patient believer because they are walking by faith, and not by sight. Glory to God!

God is a good God, not only toward someone else, but to you. So be encouraged right now while you are waiting on what He has spoken, that situation to work out, that financial backing, that increase, or blessing. Consider your entire experience joy. Your faith is being proven, bringing about His will for you, but what’s most rewarding and eternal, His will IN you. When the wait is over, YOU won’t lack no good thing.

Prayer: Father, I thank You during this time of waiting and I won’t back down in my faith. I will praise You and count it all joy! I ask for patience to continue to trust You. You are working behind the scenes something great and although I don’t see it, I believe it. When it’s over, I won’t lack no good thing! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Living Sacrifice

May 3, 2019

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” John 15:13, NKJV.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.” Romans 12:1, NKJV.

Jesus gave of Himself for someone else and His sacrifice has caused a glorious impact on generations eternally. Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for sin and changed our destiny. Now God desires us to be a living one–a living sacrifice.

It may sound deep, but it isn’t. Jesus loved God and loved people. His dedication and worship to God went beyond living holy to the giving of Himself for someone else. One sacrifice, one act of giving of yourself, one selfless act, one extra mile, one sharing of Jesus, one jail visit, one helping hand, can change someone’s life eternally. His sacrifice restored the kingdom, and your sacrifice can even restore someone’s faith in a real God that sees and cares about what they’re going through.

Every sacrifice, whatever you give, whatever you lay down, will result in someone being impacted because, in a tangible way, they experience Christ in you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for making me a living sacrifice. Make me more like Jesus. Help me to love You and my love for You shows in how I love people, even if it costs me something. Let me not be all about me, but all about You and Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lead Your Family with Faith

May 1, 2019

“By faith [with confidence in God and His word] Noah, being warned by God about events not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his family. By this [act of obedience] he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness which comes by faith” Hebrews 11:7, Amplified.

Noah did what men in the world around him weren’t doing. He had a relationship with God. He had a heart after the Lord and He heard His voice of instruction to do something. Up to that point, it had not rained on the earth, yet Noah heard God tell him to build an ark. He then walked by faith, obeyed God and built an ark for him and his family to be saved from the flood to come.

Like Noah, as men being the head of our families, we ought to lead our family by our faith in God. He set the example for his family spiritually through his obedience. He had his entire family on one accord helping to build something for God. He didn’t care about the persecution and ridicule from others around him. Noah wasn’t moved by the pressures of those that didn’t believe. He didn’t consider how he looked to man, but how he looked to God.

As in Noah’s day, you’ll hear men that don’t believe in these times say, “I don’t pray with my family”, “You’re crazy for giving money for some kingdom. It’s only going to the pastor”, or “I don’t go to church anymore. You shouldn’t either.” Don’t be moved. By faith keep building. Build what is centered completely in Jesus Christ to the saving of you and your household. Noah lead them by faith and seen God’s salvation and blessings, and so will you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me to lead my family by faith. You are a good God and I am blessed to know You. No matter what other men are doing, may I be a pillar of obedience for my home. Make my home centered on Jesus Christ. Help me build what is eternal to the saving of me and my family. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you want to live free, get His word

April 29, 2019

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free’.” John 8:31-32, NKJV.

The truth of God is what makes you free. If you want to live free, get the word. If sin has a grip on you, get the word. If you want be a man of courage, get the word. If you want to walk in joy and victory, get the word. If you want walk around smiling for no reason, get the word. When you know the word, nothing may not have happened yet, but you’ll be happy. You’ll be leaning inside on Jesus, trusting in the Lord because He’s near through His word.

Man cannot live, truly live as God intended, by bread only. It takes the Bread of Life, Jesus Christ, the Word that became flesh and dwelled among us (John 1:14) to make you free. He came to give us life and that life more abundantly, and it belongs to you. Every bit of it belongs to you. It all begins with getting His word.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise and I thank You for the power of Your word. Help me to get Your word today. Help me to know the truth and make this man free through it. I will walk in joy and victory today. I am Your disciple Jesus and I choose to abide in Your word. As I do, I will be made free and live. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Born to Win

April 26, 2019

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5:4-5, NKJV.

In some moments, we have all felt like a failure. I’ve been there. Your joy and peace feels like it hit a wall. Your confidence feels like it ran away. Your strength feels like it is at its’ end, to where you even physically need rest. You look at your own heart, your mistakes and you ask can you change.

Then, I stop. I stop and decide I will yet go on by my faith. I’m born to win. You decide you are going to believe God anyway. You are going to do what He desires of you anyway. You will continue to reach and press, standing on His word. The moment you stop and decide regardless of how feel to go on, you will feel alive again. Your joy and peace will begin to rise and God lifts your head. This is what your faith will do.

Whatever place you find yourself in, the applying of your faith in Christ will always cause us to experience the victory already given to us. You are born of God, predestined to overcome anything. This moves us beyond living by feelings, but by faith in the Son of God. All of God’s promises are yes and amen and the Father’s truth will stand.

You are not a failure. You were born to win!

Prayer: Thank You for encouraging me Father to go on. Thank You for lifting my head. Help me not just to have faith, but help me apply it. Help me to apply it right where I am. You still saved me and regardless of how I feel, I have already overcome through the Son of God. I receive what I need from You right now. I have the victory and I am born to win! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Your Peace and Success

April 24, 2019

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8, NKJV

I don’t know one man that doesn’t want peace and success. God’s word is our manual for living, and He told Joshua to meditate in it day and night. Observe to walk in it and the result will be peace (one Hebrew meaning for prosperity) and good success. His word is life to you. It provides wisdom and shows you the way to get to where you desire in every area of life. When you apply it, it will make your way prosperous. When you address issues the way He says is the best way to resolve them, your way will be made prosperous.

God is a holy, loving God, all-wise, a Rewarder, and there is no spot in Him. If He has said anything to you in His word, it will not fail based on His character alone. So turn and think on His word. Hide it in your heart. Let the Bible be your structure, your go-to manual, your problem-solver, your key to prosperity, your key to having a blessed life. It will without fail reward you and those around you with peace and good success.

Confession: I will esteem God’s word. It is life and health for me. It is strength for me. It is the resolution for any issue or conflict I face. It is the key to every reward and blessing in my life. With God’s help, I can hide it in my heart and it reflect in my life. I thank God for peace and good success because I meditate and observe to do God’s Word. Thank You Lord!

Steps to receive

April 20, 2019

“And they lifted up their voices and said, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’ So when He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’ And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed” Luke 17:13-14, NKJV.

When Jesus walked the earth, He would heal someone when they asked. Sometimes, He would ask them to do something, a step, an instruction, and when they did it, or even as they did it, they would find themselves receiving what they asked for.

The Father will do the same with you. There are times with your daily walk, when you ask for something from God, before you receive what you’ve asked for, you will receive an instruction. He will speak to your heart and tell you to do something. You now have your opportunity, your door to receive what you’ve asked for.

You may ask God to help your marriage, and in the heat of a moment, He will say forgive her. When you ask God to increase you financially, at the time your paycheck arrives, He will ask you to put some of it aside. You may ask God for some peace of mind, then the Father will ask you to read My word. When you ask Him for His will to be done in your life, He will reveal His will and the Holy Spirit will begin leading you into it.

When you ask for something from God, He may ask something of you. It is the very step to receive. He will open the door for you, but your obedience and faith is what will open the door for Him to powerfully move, so you can powerfully receive.

Prayer: Father, there is none like You! Thank You for speaking to me, and that You always hear me when I ask You for anything. Help me to have faith and do what You ask of me so I can receive. According to You word, I trust You will even do exceedingly and abundantly beyond what I can ask for or imagine! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Prayer of Faith for Healing

March 27, 2019

“But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed” Isaiah 53:5, NKJV.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies” Psalm 103:2-4, NKJV.

Father, we pray today for those who need healing in their bodies. I ask in faith according to Your word that by Jesus stripes they are healed. I ask in faith according to Your word You daily load us with benefits and You heal all our diseases. We touch and agree for healing to manifest against cancer, tumors, sickle-cell anemia, eye issues, headaches, chest pains, traumas, cataracts, and high blood pressure. We ask for the power of God begin to show up in their lives. We ask that their bodies respond to Your anointing and that the hearer responds to You with faith. We touch and agree for pain to dissipate now! We pray that peace comes now in Jesus’ name! You are my Healer. In Jesus’ name we prayer the prayer of faith, Amen!

He will bring it back to life

March 18, 2019

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord” Psalm 118:17, NKJV.

Do you have something that appears to be lifeless and there is no recovery for it in your life? Something that is final in the hands of man, is never final in the hands of God. Last time I checked, He brings the dead back to life, and He makes all things new.

Some things are no longer alive in your life, or you don’t have in your life for a reason. He let it dry up because it needed to dry up–for a sovereign reason. Leave it there. Yet, the things that God has told you that He will bring back to life, believe God for it because He will do it.

Prayer: Father, I give You all the praise, honor and glory. What You have told me You will bring back to life for me, I will believe You for it. Help me to not be moved. I will have what You say. What You say will live again, what You will make new again, what You have for me is for me, and I will joyfully believe You for it! In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

Flow with Him

March 4, 2019

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come” John 16:13, ESV.

There is a ride at a water amusement park called the lazy river. It flowed in one direction, and nothing could change the current of it, nor can you fight against it. This river was designed that if you would relax and flow with it, it would carry you throughout the park.

Like that river, The Holy Spirit is described as living water, and He’s always flowing. Always leading and guiding. If you yield, He will carry you to a victorious place. Some of us are fighting against the current of the Holy Spirit, instead of flowing with the Holy Spirit.

Tell the Holy Spirit You win. Lay back and flow with His leading so He can carry you right into the truth of God’s will. The Father wants to show up do all the awesome things you hear that He can do in your life.

Trust Him and flow with His Spirit.

Prayer: Father, I ask that You open my eyes to His leading. I desire to live a blessed life. You are always leading and guiding Holy Spirit. I’m going to flow with You into everything God has for me. I quit fighting against the current. You win.I’m living Your way. I’m flowing with You in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

A Message from the LORD to You!

March 3, 2019

“Hallelujah! O my soul, praise God! All my life long I’ll praise God, singing songs to my God as long as I live. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God” Psalm 146:1 & 5, NKJV.

“In spite of what you see, don’t take long to choose to praise Me. Don’t stay on the floor. Continue to believe Me for more and more. Yes your feelings are real. Yes your circumstance is real. But yes, I Am real also, and what I speak I plan to bring to pass in your life. So don’t look down, look up! Look up to the hills where your help comes from, it comes from Me Who has eternally set you free. Choose to praise Me. Choose my presence where there is fullness of joy. Choose to thank Me for what you have. Choose to let go and let Me do it.” says the Lord.

Make His perspective–your perspective.

February 17, 2019

“This is my comfort in my affliction, that Your word has revived me and given me life” Psalms 119:50, Amplified.

The major key to developing the right perspective on life’s challenges is a constant view of God’s word. This is His written word, as well as what He has spoken to help you see what you experience His way. It is your constant view of your end and expectation. It may feel as if your trial is going to kill you; however, the truth is you will live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. You may not see how it is going to come to pass, but your perspective keeps you moving and you believe in something—you believe in what He says. Know what God says about you, and it will right now revive you.

You don’t have to become another man, one full of fear, anger and frustration in the face of adversity. Make His perspective your perspective. Let His word bring joy to you. It will fill your tank, build you and quicken you. It will help keep you handling your affairs with character. His word empowers you to go through whatever you are going through, not giving a temporary circumstance your permanent attention.

Prayer: Father God, I receive Your life-giving words and I thank You for the power it has to quicken me. All things are working for my good! My challenge could very well be my blessing in disguise. Strengthen me Lord by Your joy, and help me to see my life from Your point of view. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Work While It’s Day

February 11, 2019

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work” John 9:4, NKJV.

Jesus knew He was on the earth for a specific reason. While He was living, He worked the works of God.

Your life is your season. It is your day. One day night will come and you will ask yourself did I do the works of God while I had the chance. While you are living, while you have the strength, while your mind is sharp, while the idea is fresh, while the doors are open, work while it’s day.

While it’s day, while the kids are young and love being around daddy, enjoy them. While you have your wife, bless her. While you can encourage your friends, call and impact them. Night will come and one day they will be gone.

There is also a season for all things, and we have to be mindful of the timing of God. When it is your season, when it is your time and His power is abounding, when it is your day, work the works of God. Work the plan of God. Be strong in His grace and win others while you can.

Prayer: Father, I give You all of the praise, honor and glory today. Thank You for all that You are doing in my life. I pray for myself and other men to understand the time and season we are in. May I do all that I can, while I can. Help us to seize every moment and work while it is day. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Stay with it. You’re coming forth as gold.

January 22, 2019

“That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,” 1 Peter 1:7, NKJV.

You may be a man experiencing one of the most trying times in my life. It is testing your faith, the true desires of my heart and your will to follow the Lord. Yet in the midst of your trial, you can tell that something is breaking forth. The will of God and His call is breaking forth. For me, like a baby in the womb, the pressure is pushing me forward. I can tell I am about to experience something great for God in my life and I’m staying with it.

It may be testing you to the core, but stay with it. Like being in a fiery furnace, Jesus was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:25), so He is with you. He is right there with you. They came out unharmed and God did a great work through them, and so He will with you. You are at the cusp of something great in your life. Stay with whatever God is doing in you. You are coming forth as gold!

Prayer: Father, I feel pressed on every side, yet I’m staying with it. Whatever You are doing in me, have Your way. It may be challenging, but I know deep inside You are bringing greatness out of me. Purify this man and cause me, the called me, to break forth! I ask for grace and strength right where I am and I thank You Jesus, my Champion, is with me. I’m coming forth as gold! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Nothing Else Will Do

November 3, 2018

“Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13-14, NKJV.

I never have drank water that didn’t quench my thirst. In these times, many are seeking to quench their thirst for love, fulfillment, peace, and happiness with things, only to find they have the house, but not a home. They obtain the money, but they can’t buy what they really want and need. At the end of the day, they are still thirsty.

What we thirst for can’t be purchased with money or found in a relationship, it can only be found in Jesus Christ. Nothing else will do. All of our reaching out for love and identity, for forgiveness and validation are only found in Christ. Jesus is that water, and He would cease to be water if He couldn’t quench our thirst. He is the missing piece that fills every void. Don’t turn to things, relationships or anywhere else. Receive His living water and you will never thirst again.

When you encounter someone who doesn’t know the Lord, share with them how Jesus has quenched your thirst and how He can do the same for them.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Son. I realize I need Jesus, the living water. Nothing else will do. I ask for You to come into my heart and provide the everlasting supply that I need. I thank You for a well of water on the inside of me that springs up unto everlasting life. Thank You Lord and I access Your living water today! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

The Best Help in Life

November 2, 2018

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever” John 14:16, NKJV.

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come” John 16:13, NKJV.

I have found the best Help we have in this life is the leading of the Holy Spirit. I have been in some pressured situations, and if it weren’t for the Holy Spirit giving me the guidance I needed in those moments and telling me what to do, I would have thrown in the towel. He led me to overcome.

When no one else is there, He is. When you don’t know what to do, the Holy Spirit will direct you to the answer. If you find yourself in trouble, He will lead you out of it. If you need restoration, He will lead you step by step into God restoring you, even better than what you had. When you are seeking to get God’s will accomplished, the Holy Spirit will show you how to do it.

The Holy Spirit desires each day, in every situation, to help you by leading you. If you will let Him drive, if you will have faith in His wisdom, He will steer you like a wheel into the Father’s will for you. Sometimes, you may not understand why He is telling you to do something, but He will never let you down. You may not understanding where He is taking you, but He will not let you down. He may tell you to apologize or do good to them anyway, but trust Him. He is perfect and He guides us into the perfect truth of God’s Word and we experience that His way will work every time.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the Holy Spirit. Jesus left me the best Help I have, the same as if He was here. Holy Spirit lead the way. In everything in my life, lead the way. As I acknowledge You, as I turn to You, help me to recognize your leading all the time. I let go of my agenda and I will follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let Him Use You

August 25, 2018

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” 2 Chronicles 16:9, KJV.

We went to the hospital yesterday to share Jesus and God’s love the sick. At first we visited and prayed for someone we knew to be healed from cancer. God’s presence and peace filled the room, and she very touched by our company. Afterwards, we went to some rooms nearby and offered prayer. One lady wasn’t talking well, but we prayed for her healing, cast out spirits and her relative said she is talking better, and could now understand what she is saying.

As we got in a packed elevator to leave, a family asked if we could pray for their relative. No one knew anybody, but we all, black and white, stepped out of the elevator, joined hands, powerfully prayed and we hugged each other. Then, moments later, two more people stopped us and asked for prayer. We thanked God for sharing His love and for moving in a mighty way.

God wants to move in the earth, and He is simply looking for a willing vessel, a willing heart, to show Himself strong through. Wherever you show up at, whether hospital, jail, at the mall, or even just on your phone, you carry Him with you. His love, His joy, His peace, His healing is in you. If you will show up, show up, He will show out! If you yield in those moments and let Him use you when He tells you to, you will see great and mighty things!

Prayer: Father, people are hurting and in need Jesus in these times. Help me to be a man that’s about Your kingdom. I will not be walk in fear, but love. Wherever I am, whoever I talk to today, help me to let You use me when You tell me to. If I will just show up, You will do great things! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Live your original life!

August 14, 2018

“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” Psalm 139:14, NKJV

Even with all of the people on this earth, God has something specific in mind for your life when He created you. He has a select plan and purpose solely fashioned for you. It is one of a kind. No one has lived the plan that God has for you and no one ever will.

Just as original as your DNA, your build and your personality is as original as you are created. There’s only one ‘you’ coming through the earth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, highly-regarded as the creation of the Almighty. Formed by His hand, given good and perfect gifts to use to glorify Him.

Dare not believe that you don’t have greatness on the inside of you. Dare not believe you are not equipped. Dare not believe that you are incapable. The devil fights you so hard because you have been created so well in the image and likeness of God.

Reject all fear and move forward in being who God made you to be. You have work to do. Live your original life.

Prayer: Father, thank You for making this man an original. There will only be one of me. I really am special. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. You don’t want me to delay living this great life that You have planned for me. I do have so much to live for. Help me to move forward. Show me what You created me to do and I will live my original life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

He is Papa now.

July 26, 2018

“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Galatians 4:6, NKJV.

Jesus called God “Father” more than anyone else in the Bible when he walked the earth. He would tell us to do the same when we pray. Then, He went even deeper by referring to Him as “Abba” (Mark 14:36). Abba expresses a more intimate, closer, and affectionate description of the Father. It is similar to when we say “papa” or “dad.”

When He gave His life for us, anyone that receives Him now receives the Spirit of Adoption, and we can now know God just as He does. Jesus wants you to know the Father as He does. He is not just God. He is not just Father.

He is Papa. He is Dad.

When I call God Papa, that alone causes me to work beyond any unworthiness, feeling unqualified, and all others. Calling Him Papa alone helps me deal with the hurt and disappointments of my own natural father, who wasn’t there. It may seem far from you being able to be so close to the Father, yet that is what God has intended through Christ. Jesus removed the gap of sin for you and restored you to sonship.

God wants you to relate to Him in a deeper way. He wants you to treat Him closer. He doesn’t just want to be God. He doesn’t just want to be Creator, the Alpha and the Omega, the Almighty to you. When you need Him the most, He wants to be Abba. When you are trying your best to be a great man, or when you’ve messed up, He wants to be Abba. He wants to be Abba — denoting closeness, transparency, love, and mercy. The One you can lean on, turn to, and confide in. The One Who tells you who you are. The One who’s always proud of you. He is Papa now.

Prayer: Papa, I am no longer in bondage, and I don’t have to be afraid. You are not only God. You are Father, You are Papa. There is nothing in the way. I am Your beloved son. I have received Your Spirit of Adoption, and I can call You Papa. Help me to move beyond anything that my natural father did or didn’t do. Help me begin to walk with You in this way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He will be right on time

July 17, 2018

“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil” 1 Peter 3:12, KJV.

“Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word” Psalm 103:20, KJV.

When you don’t see anything happening, it can be challenging to remain confident and encouraged that God will come through when you need Him to. This is especially when you are in a tough situation right now.

But know this: God’s eyes are on you, God’s ears are toward you and He will be right on time.

God sees you, He has heard you and He is moving on your behalf. God is moving like an underground workman, handling all the intricate details of your prayers, of your life, that you can’t see. His angels move at His word on your behalf, in your marriage, on the provision, the opportunities, the favor, and the open doors that we can’t see. He not only sees our immediate need, but the things we don’t even realize we need also. He is bringing about His perfect will for you.

Your God never sleeps nor slumbers, and He never fails to perform His word. Praise Him now with confidence because God is always in control, and He will be right on time.

Prayer: Thank You Father for encouraging me. I am having to trust You more and more. It brings me joy knowing that You see me, that You hear me and that you are always on time. You won’t be late. Give me great peace today. I ask for patience as I wait on You. I will praise You now! Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

He is Greater!

June 30, 2018

“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4, NKJV.

Know that deep inside you rests a power that by faith can move mountains because of the greater One that lives in you. It’s a fight to not allow ourselves to fall prey to those negative voices, and those that are against us. The TRUTH and the good news is that the devil and none of those people that he uses to come against you matter. God deemed you perfect to do His will. You are here, you are alive, so surely God has a great purpose for your life.

If you ever find yourself faced with an obstacle you don’t know how to overcome, speak this verse over your life. Proclaim it in Jesus’ name. When you feel like asking, “why me?” Well then you must ask yourself why Noah? Why Moses? Why Joshua, Jacob, and David? They all were chosen to do great things and you are as well.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 114:39). Every fiber of your being is specifically designed to do His will, and at your very core rests His great Spirit and that is something no one can take away from you.

Praise God for His Holiness. Praise God that we can be strong and be blessed because He is greater!

Prayer: Father God You are greater! You are greater in me! I cast down all negative thoughts. Bless my physical man and take it wherever You desire and may it be used for Your glory. Let me be a shining light in the darkness for all who cross my path. Lord, thank You for brothers and friends that always bring back to our minds that You are greater in us! Bless my brothers abundantly. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Learning to be a calm man in the storm.

June 23, 2018

“On the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, ‘Let us cross over to the other side’…Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, ‘Peace, be still!’ And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:35 & 39, NKJV.

As with the disciples, Jesus can be with you, but still a storm may come. Yet, when the winds of life are raging, learn to be a man that’s calm in the storm. The disciples weren’t going to the other side based on outside conditions or the quality of the ship. They were going to the other side because of the word of Jesus. If you are in a storm right now, you will make it to the other side, not based on outside conditions, not your own or someone else’s ability. It is solely because God said it, and that is where you draw your faith, calmness and joy from.

As you are calm, you will stand in faith and command peace in Jesus’ name. While others around you may be hollering, even in your home, you bring hope. A calm man gain’s control over something that appears to be out of control, declaring what God said the end will be.

Jesus is with you when all is well, and he is with you in the storm–be immovable and confident in both situations. Always tell yourself and your family that we’re going to the other side!

Prayer: Thank You Father for Your word today! May I always be a man of a calm spirit. I am going to the other side to victory because You said I would. I rebuke the storm in Jesus’ name, and I say peace be still! Help me have faith and allow the Holy Spirit to lead me to the other side. In Jesus name, Amen.

Be reminded of how awesome He is

June 20, 2018

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” 1 Corinthians 2:7-8, NKJV.

The devil thought he had defeated Jesus through the cross. When little did he know, by the hidden wisdom of God, the cross was the way He made for our salvation. The devil thought Jesus was ruined, but the cross was used to cause him to reign. Satan didn’t see it coming and had no idea he set up his own defeat instead.

Let this be a reminder of how awesome God is. He will show you no matter what it looks like, He is always in control. He has a hidden wisdom that He operates in and is always steps ahead of your adversary. If you remain in faith, He will show you Who He is and what He has ordained for you.

Just when it seems like you will see defeat and failure, when it seems like the devil will ruin you, God will use it to make you better, take your higher and you will reign. When what you’ve gone through appears wouldn’t have any benefit at all in your life, like the ultimate chess move, God is going bring you great victory from it.

“Come up higher, says the Lord. Come up higher and then you will see. I am working it together for your eternal victory.”

Prayer: Father, I give You all the praise and glory right now! I’m an excited and encouraged man today. You know exactly what You are doing. You are going to make something out of all that I have been through. Let it break forth. I will remain in faith about my life. I have faith in Your hidden wisdom and I will walk out my purpose. Continue to shape me in the image of Your Son. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Acknowledge that you can’t do it on your own.

June 19, 2018

“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble’.” James 4:6, NKJV

When you wake up in the morning, one way to begin your day is to acknowledge in prayer that you can’t do it. It’s humbling to not only say you can’t, but to honestly realize this truth. You can’t walk this walk out on your own. You can’t live right on your own. You have no godly strength in you and you can’t love people like He does. There’s nothing good you can do, or become, by yourself.

This humility is what swings the door wide open for the grace of God to operate in your life. It causes the grace of God to abound toward you, as God sees a humble man that truly needs and wants Him to be apart of his life. You will witness an Almighty God and Father meet your need with detail. He will respond to your humility with grace. He will respond to your weakness with strength, and your questions with answers. This kind of approach in prayer, not eloquent words, is what God will always respond to.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your word. As I begin my day praying, I acknowledge that I can’t do it on my own. I can’t. Yet, I know that You can. You are all I need. I ask that You respond to my humility with an outpouring of grace toward me. Holy Spirit rest upon me and give me the strength to do what I can’t do. Let Your love, wisdom, counsel, and power reign in and through me today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Help me Lord

June 2, 2018

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalms 121:1-2, NKJV.

If you are going through a very hard time in your life right now, pray this prayer with me today: Father God, all I can say is help me. I don’t know what to do, or where I’m going. I’m hurt, confused and all of the above. My head is barely above water. You are the greatest Help I know of and I reach out for You. I lift my eyes up to where every kind of help comes from and it comes from You. You can do great things and I know You have for others. I ask You to do great things for me. Change the circumstances I am in and change this man even right where I am. I receive Your help to persevere in these trials. Give me the hope, wisdom and strength I need to overcome what I’m facing. I need You God. Help me now. I thank You for it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your Refuge, Your Trust

May 27, 2018

“I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.’ ” Psalm 91:2, NKJV.

Trust has several meanings in the Old Testament, but it also means refuge. It is something that is strong and steady that you can hope in and be assured of life. When I think about a refuge, it always brings about a vision of a house with a porch and I am standing under that porch protected from the rain. I can hardly see myself, but I just mainly see what is covering me.

God is our refuge. When we take refuge in Him, we are taking our very lives and putting it under the mighty covering of God. When so much is happening around us, it’s in Him that we can run to and put our trust. In Him, we can take shelter in those times when it gets tough. When it’s hard to see your way through the storm, you can hide in God and He’ll get you through it all.

Prayer: I thank You Father God for being my refuge. I the midst of what I face, right now I make You my refuge. You are my shelter. Help me make my dwelling place, not the trouble, but make You my dwelling place. Let this show the trust that I will put in You and Your word! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This is Who You Are

May 26, 2018

“But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you-from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.” 1 Peter 2:9, MSG

Has anyone ever told you who you are? A number of men haven’t been, but rather who they are not; or they haven’t been told anything, leaving them without hope and direction in their lives.

At this moment in your life right now, which may be a defining one for you, God wants you to know who you are. You have made in His mighty image and likeness. You are a royal priesthood and king in a crooked and perverse generation. No matter what you’ve done, You are His son. You are blessed by God Himself! You are equipped with the mind of Christ. You’ve been made free from sin and the enemy through Him. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are a light. You have a purpose and you have God’s grace to fulfill that purpose. You are above only and not beneath. You are the lender and not borrower, not matter your current state. You may be bending right now, but you won’t break or fold.

You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you. Everything you do prospers and the blessing the Lord is upon you to create wealth. Your heart is fixed trusting in the Lord and you shall not be moved (Psalm 112:7). You are a game changer. You can’t be held down. The joy of the Lord is your strength. You can’t be stopped! Whatever God has called you to do, you WILL do it. You are ALREADY victorious.

Tell yourself who you are in Christ according to His word, and don’t back down from it. Only receive it.

Prayer: Father, thank You for encouraging me. Thank You for defining me. I reject any harmful words that have been spoken over me in my life and I choose to believe in You God and believe in myself as a man. Every time I speak Your Word over me, I choose to believe and receive it. I am who You say I am and I can do what You say I can do. I give You all the praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

You’ve tried it your way, now try it God’s way.

May 25, 2018

“And He said to them, ‘Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.’ So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish” John 21:6, NKJV.

All night some of the disciples had been pursuing to make a catch and nothing worked. Jesus told them to cast your net on the right side and you’ll find some. When they did what the Lord said, when they decided to do it God’s way, then they reaped abundant success.

There have been times where I just came to the end of myself. I came to an end of my ability, doing it my way, leaning on what I think will work and going in the direction that seems best, and continuing to find myself not reaping in life. Only when I did what the Lord said, is when the plan and blessings of God unfolded for me.

There are great blessings in store for you. Your fulfillment is at the door. Your financial increase is so close. Yet, it will only be experienced when you honestly answer like Peter that you haven’t caught anything. Like Peter, you come to the end of yourself, your own understanding, your own intellect, and what makes sense to you. It is time to give up trying it your way and do it His way. Save your efforts and do it your way no more. Surrender your plans for His. Let this be the year you cast your net to the other side instead, and you will find every single blessing unfold before you.

Prayer: Father, I have come to the end of myself. I’ve tried and like the disciples, I’ve caught nothing. I decide to do what You have been telling me to do. I decide to live like You’ve been telling me to live. Help me to have faith in Your plan, Your ability and I thank You for every single blessing unfolding before me. In Jesus’ name Amen.

Thank Mom for being there

May 13, 2018

“Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. John 19:25-27, NKJV.

Even while Jesus was on the cross, enduring all manner of agony and pain, Mary was there. Mom never left His side. She gave birth to Him, raised Him, and helped Him throughout His life. Now, when her son needed her the most, mom was there.

When you needed her the most, your mom or someone like a mother to you, was there. God made mom as a master piece of strength. Aside from Him, He made her to help you in life in every way. Through your pain, through your successes, through your mistakes and disappointments, through your trouble, through the times you needed prayer, mom has always been there. She has been so influential to you, so special to you. Your mother may have passed away, but she is still there helping you.

As Jesus instructed His disciples to do for His mother, be there for her–your wife and your mom. Take the time to always act on your appreciation for them. Thank them for all they have done for you. Without your wife, your children wouldn’t be here. Without your mom, you wouldn’t be here. They deserve your honor, appreciation and care for them not just today, but at all times.

Prayer: Father, thank You for every Mother today. Thank You for all I pray they are so loved and honored. She has been there for me. I will take care of them. Help me to always be there for her–for my wife and my mom. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Learn to listen when you pray.

April 8, 2018

“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known” Jeremiah 33:3, ESV.

Prayer is not only about asking of God, but listening to God. Prayer is a complete communication with the Father. You speak to Him, and He speaks to you—yes, He will. You ask of Him regarding what you are going through, about a change you seek, or a desire, and then you listen to see what God has to say about it. Prayer isn’t about just making a request, then walk away.

The Lord has something to say to you.

Yet, you won’t ever know if you don’t take time in prayer to listen. Take the time after your requests to see just maybe the Lord has a request of you. He will answer you if you allow Him to. There are times when I’ve asked God about something about my life, and before I can even finish, He answers me. There are times where I’ve had to keep listening for His voice and receive the peace of God regarding a big decision. Even after you pray, sit still, quiet yourself and the Lord will answer.

Listening in prayer helps us not to make plans, but fail to even ask God was it His will in the first place. It helps us to be led by His Spirit and learn how to recognize His voice when He speaks. Most of all, it helps us to humble ourselves and submit our will to His will. Because the truth is sometimes we don’t want to listen, but we must. His will is what’s best.

Prayer: Father, You are good. I ask that You adjust my prayer life to one where I not only ask, but I listen. Do You have a request of me? I’m here and I’m listening. Show me Your will. Show me Your answers. From the start of my day to the end, when I pray, help me to listen for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thankful for Jesus

March 31, 2018

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8, NKJV.

Many things may be going well in your life, and from friends to family, there is so much you can stop and thank God for. Yet, the most important thing you can be thankful for is your Savior.

Jesus told the disciples rejoice because your name is written in heaven. Rejoice, celebrate and be thankful that Jesus redeemed you and your debt of sin was eternally paid. Every one of them, ALL of them, have been blotted out, never to be known in connection to you again. When God sees you, He sees you as completely righteous in Christ Jesus before Him.

Jesus opened the door of salvation and you freely walked through it. Also because he rose, you rose too and you realize the blessings have been countless since he has been in your life. How many times has God come through for you this year? When did He not provide? How many times did He not blow your mind with His goodness and favor on your life? You can be thankful that through Christ you have a life that overflows with God, with His promises and victory.

Know the things you’re thankful for, but most of all, know WHO you’re thankful for and Who is responsible for it all. Thank God for giving you a Savior today. No matter what you have, Jesus always puts every thing in perspective.

Prayer: Father, I can give thanks for many things, but above all, thank You for sending your son for me. Thank you Jesus for my great salvation. You are the source of my joy and every blessing in my life. I have what I have, all the family and friends that I’ve been blessed with because of you. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

“For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.” Proverbs 24:16, NKJV.

For a just man, falling is not final. Who are the just? It is those who’s sins have been taken away through Jesus. You may have fallen down, but you are just. You get back up. You rise. A just man will never stay down because he is reminded that God is with him. He knows goodness and mercy follows him all the days of his life, and God’s mighty hand will always help him up.

If you’ve fallen, rise from your place and take your seat as being seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Set your heart to receive God’s abundant grace and know that His plan is always intact. He has a plan already prepared for your comeback and your ultimate victory. You must not remain there as the wicked, those who are without a good Father in God.

You are God’s man and you are needed in these times. Your wife needs you. Your children need you. Turn away from any condemnation, shame or regret. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Let it empower you to rise.

Confession: I choose to not wallow in my mistakes, but rise with joy and the knowledge of God’s acceptance of me. I serve a merciful and faithful God. Since He’s not condemning me, I will not either. I get back up! I am the just, and I am who God says I am. I rise from every circumstance. I am needed in these times. God’s plan for me will never change, and surely I have restoration ahead. I will never quit on the LORD because He never quit on me. I will praise Him! I rise!

A Message from the Lord

March 18, 2018

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass” Psalm 37:4-5, NKJV.

“I am going to bless you and you know it. It is time to completely trust Me that I surely will. What you know must translate into the actions of trusting Me. You must trust Me and do what My will is as You wait on Me. Let me steer you. Let me guide you. Let Me cause you to reign in your finances, reign on your job, reign in your home and family. You know I am going to do it, so choose to act like it is so. Have faith like it is so–right now. Let your trust in Me confuse the enemy. Let the knowledge of the truth of My word fill your heart with great joy. I’m going to do what I said I will do, but you must trust Me. Waiting doesn’t mean no. Waiting means I am preparing My best for you. Don’t you want My best, or do you want you own? Wait upon Me. Be still and know that I am God. Follow my Spirit and His wisdom that He gives, as a step-by-step plan is given when you pray to Me. Keep your eyes on Me and My will. Stay focused on My calling for you. Revolve your decisions around it. I WILL bless You! says the LORD.”

You can have money, but money shouldn’t have you.

March 10, 2018

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33, NKJV.

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.” Deuteronomy 8:18, NKJV.

When God is first, you are glad to use your power to get wealth for His glory and to be a great blessing. When He’s first, it’s not about yourself, but the kingdom. It’s okay to have money, as long as money doesn’t have you.

God says seek His kingdom and righteousness first. Above all, His will and His plans for you is most important to you. Money doesn’t give you peace, the Lord gives you peace. Money is not what you love. God is Who you love, and He can tell you at all times what to do with it. You don’t live for money, you live for God, trusting Him when He says He’ll continually bless the work of your hands and add all things to you because He can trust you with it.

Seeking first the kingdom also means that you always pursue financial growth within His laws and principles, according to the borders of His righteousness. If you do whatever it takes to get it, money has you. Don’t operate in wickedness to make your business grow. Don’t lie, cheat or gouge people to get money. Don’t stop giving to the spreading of the Gospel so that doesn’t lessen what you have. More will be given when you do! More ideas to create wealth will be given when you do. Remember, everything you have, it’s because of God’s goodness shown to you.

We can’t afford to let money have us as men right now. There’s people to reach and much work for the kingdom to do.

Prayer: Father, thank You for showing me it’s okay to have money, but we do it Your way and let You add things to us. You are first in my life and I will keep you first, not the pursuit of money. Show me Your will to create the wealth you have for me. I declare I have more than enough financially to provide for my family and to be great blessing! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Serve Him Only

March 8, 2018

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” Matthew 6:24, KJV.

“Cash rules everything around me, cream, Get the money, dollar dollar bill ya’ll!” C.R.E.A.M. was an old popular rap song by the Wu Tang Clan, summing up what mammon is.

Mammon in the greek means wealth and the gain of it is the basis this world system operates by. According to mammon, wealth is the key to your happiness and self-worth, therefore, live for it and not God. Mammon says you see what wealth and material possessions can do, and you can have it all if you serve me–not God.

Ask yourself, even as a believer, “Is money all I think about?” “Are my decisions based on material gain or God’s will?” “Does what I’m pursuing say I believe possessions will make me happy?” “Am I serving mammon and not God?” God says we can’t serve two masters. Either you will love one and hate the other. Either you will embrace the one, and despise the other. Despise mammon because it will always permanently promise what it only temporarily delivers. Hate mammon because it ultimately leaves you unhappy.

Choose to embrace the Lord’s ways in your life. Hold fast to seeking His kingdom and righteousness first, knowing the Father keeps His promises. Love to do His will with your money, Who promises to bless and prosper you. He defines who you are, and with him, you can do all things, including have a blessed life financially without having to compromise who you serve.

God is the key to real happiness, and it won’t cost you a dime and He saves the soul. Make the gritty choice to truly serve God with your life–not mammon.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your word today. Thank You for revealing to me the truth about mammon. Examine my heart and if I am a man serving the wrong master, I repent and choose to serve You. I reject mammon and my happiness will not be dictated by money and things. I am happy living and doing things Your way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Anticipate the goodness of God!

March 6, 2018

“Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His mercy and lovingkindness endure forever!” Psalm 106:1, Amplified.

“Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life…” Psalm 23:6a, Amplified.

The Lord wants us as His people to receive a steady dose that He is good. If He was good before, He will be good again. Your past isn’t all the goodness you are ordained to see, but He will be good to you in your future and in the days to come.

You may not know how or when, but He wants you to anticipate His goodness toward you. Anticipate means to look forward to as certain; regard as probable; expect or predict. Things may not appear to be going as you would like or you need a great change within, but keep anticipating His goodness. You may be waiting for an open door or a job opportunity, but you keep anticipating, looking forward to as certain and expect something good from God!

This is the reason the psalmist declares to keep thanksgiving on your lips and His praise in your heart. This understanding that He’s good will keep you praising Him, in spite of what you see or feel.

Even in your darkest hour, praise Him in the midst. You shall see the goodness and mercy of God show up in your life. It follows you wherever you go, and just when it seems like the devil is going to win, the Lord shows Himself strong toward us with goodness in His hands.

Prayer: Father, You are good! Because You are good, I praise You Lord and I thank You! Your love abounds toward me! You have been good and you will continue to be good to me. Help me to always anticipate Your goodness in my life. Let my faith stand on this mighty truth. You will bless me. You will provide. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

He is the Spirit and He lives in me

February 24, 2018

“Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” 2 Corinthians 3:16-17, NKJV.

Did you know that the Lord Jesus is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit living in you is the very Spirit of the Lord. The one that speaks to you, guides you, strengthens, leads, and comforts you is Jesus himself. He lives in us by his Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. How is that? It is because the Spirit is the Lord in us, and where Jesus is, there is freedom.

We are closer, much closer to Jesus then we realize. We are walking with him each and every day. The redemptive work of Christ has made us free from the guilt of sin and made us to stand as righteous before the Father. Wherever you are, whatever situation you face, whatever mountain before you to climb, you are free–so be free.

Let nothing keep the mercy & grace of God from pouring out in your life and let nothing keep you from partaking of the liberating joy of the salvation you have in Christ. Since you have Jesus, everything is going to be alright, because He already made it alright. He is helping us through His Spirit to continually be transformed from glory to glory into His likeness. It is a work being done in us far beyond glorious, and Jesus confirms it by the Spirit is with you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Jesus. Thank You according to Your word that Jesus IS the Spirit. Wow! By the Spirit, Jesus lives in me. There’s nothing I can’t overcome with Jesus in me. Give me more revelation that the Lord is the Spirit and I am free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Don’t do it for man, do it for God.

February 18, 2018

“But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic…But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy” James 3:14-17, NKJV.

The wisdom of God is the will of God. It is not only what we need to make sound decisions, it also IS the sound decision. When faced with decisions, the question is how can we determine what He wants us to do? Are there indicators that let us know what is of God and what’s not?

When you are searching for the will of God, the Father gives us some powerful descriptions of His wisdom to help us identify it, including that it will first be pure. It will be morally and spiritually undefiled. It will be perfect. If you are doing it being driven by pleasing people, you can know the decision is not from God because it is not pure. If you are doing it because you seek the applause of men, your decision is not pure. If you marry her just because of her body, it’s not gentle or pure. With all of your decisions, from who you marry, what church you attend, what job you accept, what you do with your money, what car or house you buy, let them be pure before the Lord and made solely because you seek what pleases God.

Ask yourself these questions:
Is this decision pure?
Am I doing this for man or for God?
Am I doing this because I feel pressured?
Am I seeking to appear a certain way that I’m really not to people?
What does God’s word say about this specific decision?

If we look at every decision through the lens of God’s word, it will filter out all the bad intents and motives. As men, we want to have certain things, appear a certain way, and show that we’ve arrived. That’s what the devil wants you to do. However, that won’t deliver peace nor what you really desire in the end. Don’t do it to please people, do it to please God. You want God’s will for your life and His favor before you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me. I believe this truth is going to change my life. Help me to digest these scriptures and apply them in my life. May all my decision be pure. Help me to seek the word to help me check my intents and motives. I will not do what I do for man, but for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Cause Me to Run for You

February 12, 2018

“Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward-to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us” Philippians 3:13-14, MSG.

Pray this with me today: Father, I praise You and there is no one like You. Cause me to run for You. Ignite a fire and excitement in me to go after what You have for me. Make me to run after Jesus like I never have before. Let no shackles or chains hold me down. Let it even blow my own mind how I begin to pursue You more, pursue Your calling more.

Help me to trust You there is greatness in me. I am a great man fashioned by a great God. I feel You cheering me on. I will get better and I will go higher! Rest on me Holy Spirit and help me to run in such way that I obtain the prize–the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. As I pray, let Your grace flow into my life. Empower me to run fearlessly and unashamed. Empower me to press. Help me to not to look back on the past because it only will slow me down. I’m going forward. Help me to remain focused on Your plan for me and I thank You for causing me to run for You. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

You Are Blessed Beyond Measure!

February 11, 2018

“For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift]” John 1:16, Amplified.

The Father wants us to realize how blessed we are. Sometimes, we can forget that the things that really matter, we have been given an abundance of.

I was in my car one day with a lot of concerns on my heart. I said instead of worrying, let me spend some time with the Lord and I began singing a song to praise Him and thank Him. All of sudden, I found myself in His presence surrounded in peace. I couldn’t explain it. All I could say is wow the Lord is here, and it reminded me that we’re blessed that we can simply sing His praises and the Lord shows up and there’s joy and peace in His presence. This access that you have to God at all times can’t be quantified or bought. You’re blessed!

It’s a blessing to know that whatever fight you’re in, you will have the belt in the end. To know nothing can hinder you from receiving what God has for you, not even your mistakes. That’s how blessed you are! Somehow, no matter what the devil throws at you, you don’t break. That’s how blessed you are! You have been able to stand and you just keep standing–that’s how blessed you are!

It’s a blessing that we have perfect credit spiritually because Jesus paid all of our debt of sin and our names are written in heaven (Luke 10:20). It’s a blessing to know that wealth and riches will be in the house of the man that reverence’s God and delights in His commandments. He will increase us more and more, us and our children (Psalm 115:12-14)! Most of all, you know Jesus and all you need is in your God. You are blessed beyond measure!

Prayer: Father, I’m so blessed. I receive it all Father! I thank You for reminding me of how much You have and are blessing my life. It is beyond measure! I’m a blessed man. Help me to keep counting my blessings and be a man that expects to come out on top every single time because my trust is in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

When You Need Help

February 8, 2018

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:1-2, NKJV.

It’s good to develop the habit to just stop what you’re doing and look to where your help comes from. I’ve had many times at work, where I’d had to take a break from what I was doing because I had so much I was going through or many responsibilities to handle being a man. I left my desk, walked through a glass window to the heavens, and look to where my help comes from.

Let the Lord remind you to look to Him when you need help. Don’t stand overwhelmed at that critical point in your life and look at the problem, but turn and look to your solution. Wherever you may be, step away from it and look to the Lord! Set your eyes on your mighty God. Your awesome help comes from Him and there not a time He didn’t speak to me through His word. There has never been a time that as I’ve reached for His help that He didn’t reach back–every single time.

He is the One that saves. He is the One that delivers. He is the One that opens doors. He will make it better. He can and will change it all for you my brother. He made heaven and earth, surely He can help you through it. Look to where your help comes from. It comes from your faithful God.

Prayer: Father, I take a moment right now to stop and look to You. Thank You for reminding me to look to You where my help comes from. Help me get to the place you desire for me. Help me with all these decisions as a man. Help my finances Lord. Minister to me now Father. I trust You and I look up to my Help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reject the devil’s Lies, Receive God’s Truth!

January 28, 2018

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44, NKJV.

The devil is a liar and there is truth is in him. This is who he is. If he tells you one thing, you can be sure the truth is another.

If he says you’re going to lose, through Jesus you already have the victory. If he saying you have to stay down, you can mightily get back up. If he says you can’t do it, you can be sure that you can and God has anointed you to do it. If he says it’s over for you as a man, it’s really not and never will be. If he says there’s nothing to live for so take your life, you have so much to live for! If he says you won’t make it, you are going to blow it out the water! If he says you will stay broke, God is going to make you financially blessed!

Don’t allow him to go on a monologue in your mind. He says it’s going to fail, you’re not intelligent enough, he’s going to take you out. All he can do is lie and he desires to get you to receive them. He sends packages to your door like the post office, but don’t you sign for them.

Receive the opposite, believe the opposite and boldly speak the opposite, which is what God says. That is the truth! Take the truth of God and you do your own monologue by declaring what your end will be. Receive the word of God as final authority and that you are who God says you are. God’s truth is you will have what God says you will have. You can do what God says you can do!

Prayer: Father, Your truth is forever settled in heaven. I receive Your truth and Your truth always makes us free. I am floored by the plans You have for my life! You are an awesome God! I rebuke the devil and his lies right now. It’s never over. I am who You say I am and I can do what You say I can do! Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I Want to Finish

January 25, 2018

“In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” John 4:31 & 34, NKJV.

Jesus was hungry for the will of God and to finish His work, that he deemed it more vital than food itself. It was his meat. His life’s focus was upon the will of God being completed. Now is the time to hunger for His will.

Are you a man that’s hungry to finish? Is completing the work of God your highest goal? Show me a hungry person, and I’ll show you a champion. Be determined not only to start, but to cross that finish line before you. Do not be satisfied with just doing God’s will, but also finishing God’s work that He has given you. You have a job to do. You are on an assignment by God. It should drive you and fulfill you more than spending your time doing anything else. As God causes you to see the reward, the great joy, the blessings and being a blessing in front of you, you’ll get excited. Nothing satisfies like accomplishing His will.

Prayer: Father, thank You for choosing me and giving me purpose. I am honored and humbled You have called me to a work. Reveal it even more to me. I ask for a greater hunger to not only start, but finish. Help me be centered and focused on finishing. Like Jesus, my meat is to do my Father’s will and to finish this good work in my hands. I thank God for the grace, the wisdom, and the counsel to do it. I receive the strength, joy and courage to finish. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Time to Fly

January 20, 2018

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death” Romans 8:2, NKJV.

There is a law of gravity always at work in the earth. Yet, there is a law of lift and thrust that can supersede the law of gravity, creating man’s ability to fly.

God will lift you. His word and His Spirit by His grace will lift you, but you have to add your thrust and move in faith. When His Spirit moves upon your heart to do something, you have to move with Him. The wind of His Spirit is blowing and God is moving at a fast pace because Jesus is soon to return. When we move when He tells us to, that’s when we abundantly experience His results.

The devil’s chains have been broken. Your past failures or current challenges can’t hold you down. Guilt and people can’t hold you down. There is a law, the law of the Spirit of life that supersedes and is much stronger then the law of sin and death. When you add your faith and obey Him, you will do what He created you to do and fly.

Some men have never flown naturally, but there are men who’ve never flown spiritually also. God sent His word to lift them up and His Spirit moved, but they didn’t move by faith. As a result, they’re like an airplane with mighty wings, but are stuck on the runway of life, being who they weren’t created to be and doing something they weren’t meant to do. You may have never flown, but you will this year! It’s time to leave what’s comfortable and soar. It’s time leave everything behind and fly!

Prayer: Father, thank You for lifting me up with Your word. You’ve freed me from all sin and fear. I am free to be who You created me to be and do what You created me to do. I know You are moving Holy Spirit. Help me to do my part and by faith move with You. I will experience everything God has for me. It’s my time to fly! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

No Limitations

January 7, 2018

“Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations'” Jeremiah 1:5, NKJV.

God told Jeremiah what he was created for and what he was ordained to do. Yet, the first response of Jeremiah was his limitations instead of looking at the God Who is without them. “Then said I: ‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth’.” The Lord told him not to say he is but a youth. Don’t say what you can’t do. Don’t speak of any limitations.

Any time you have to use your faith, the thoughts will come regarding the faults you’ve lived with. Others may not know, but you do. For some of us, it’s confidence. For others, it’s the lies that those around us have spoken that are totally unaware of the damage that was done to you simply believing in yourself. Some of us in are times of adversity, we give up. Some of us have been afraid for a while, and fear is choking the life out of us. If we focus on our limitations, we will be like a plane that just can never lift off the ground. It’s like saying I want to use my faith but my limitations aren’t strong enough to pick me up. It’s Jesus who makes us fly, not us. It’s Jesus that will make you soar, not you.

You don’t know how much the Lord has put in you, until now. You will go for it all this year. Realize and believe that you have no limits to doing what He’s ordained for you to do.

Prayer: Father, You don’t limit me so why should I. Help me not speak of any limitations. Let me focus on Your strength and not my own. Jesus makes us soar, not us. I’m going for it this year! I thank You that I have no limitations in doing what You’ve ordained me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Don’t Chase Vanity. Keep Chasing God.

December 19, 2017

“Thus saith the Lord, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?” Jeremiah 2:5, NKJV.

God asked Israel the question is there something in Me that would cause you not to want Me? What sin is found in Me that you would not follow after Me and go far away from Me after other gods? What harm do you think I would do toward you? Let that sink in for moment. They said God You don’t work. Your ways don’t work and You will default on Your promises. You are not good and we rather live for what’s empty because we don’t believe You can fill us.

This is an issue of the heart that Israel had at the time, that we must be careful of in these times. They rather live according to what’s vain–what is empty and the things that will never satisfy.

No matter what the devil offers you. No matter how your faith gets tested, know that there is no sin, no ill-motive, no worship-hungry, no pride found in God. He is a holy and just. He will do what He said He will do. His thoughts and plans toward you are of peace, not of evil, to give you an expected end. He is a good, and He does satisfy. He will keep His promises and His word!

The reality is there is always an element of faith regarding experiencing the promises of God. We’ll find Him, His expected end, when we search for Him with all of our hearts. It’s not bless me, then I’ll believe You. It’s rather believe, then you will see what your mighty God will do. That’s when you’ll find His expected end for you. Living for God is satisfying and rewarding in this life, and the life to come. Let nothing derail you from that.

Prayer: Father, thank You. I will not be deceived to pursue what is empty, but I will pursue You. Thank you Jesus for saving me. There is nothing wrong with You and You work! You word works! Help me to continue to serve You, knowing You do satisfy with good things and a good life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

There’s No One Like You!

December 17, 2017

“There is none like You, O Lord; You are great, and great is Your mighty and powerful name. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For it is appropriate and it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You” Jeremiah 10:6-9, Amplified.

Pray this prayer with me today: Father we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We bless and honor You. Thank you Jesus for redeeming us! Father You are our mighty God and there’s none like You! You are our invincible army all in One. There is no one higher than You Lord! No one can heal, delivery and provide like You! No one can run over all our enemies like You! No one will go so far to save. You hold all things and have all power in Your hands. There is none beside You God. We ask that You stir up our faith in You right now. As we declare Who You are, let an abundance of joy RISE in us! As we declare Who You are, let us be reminded there’s nothing too hard for You. Let peace and trust RISE in us! As we see how great You are, let us see how small our problems are. They hold no weight next to You. Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, knowing we will not lose! Keep our eyes fixed on Jesus knowing the way is already made. The devil can’t stand against us because You are for us. You always come through for us! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

You have been bought with a price. Glorify Him.

December 16, 2017

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NKJV.

If you bought a new car and sat inside of it, you would desire for that vehicle to do what you purchased it for. It’s yours. You paid a price, and you bought it for your goodness and pleasure.

The reality is just like that new car, we have been bought with a price beyond words can express. Jesus paid a great price for you and I, the way we choose to treat our body and our spirit is an indicator of how we honor that price. We humbly are now God’s and we have been purchased for His goodness and pleasure.

Jesus didn’t put in all that work to defeat sin for us, so that we choose it to reign over us. The Holy Spirit now lives inside of us, and He dwells within us with strength for character and power. He is all that we need to live righteous, holy and experience the goodness of God.

The Lord wants you to walk in all that He purchased us for. When you wholeheartedly do what He created you for, you glorify Him. When you live unto Jesus and live holy, you glorify Him. When you are faithful to your wife, you glorify Him. When you flee sexual immorality, you honor God in your body. When you eat right and work out, you glorify Him. When you use your gifts for His glory, that is glorifies the Father. The most satisfying and greatest joy you will have in life is when God Almighty is looking at how you’re living as a man for Him and is well-pleased.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Thank You Jesus. I have been bought with the price You paid. Help me to understand that price and honor it. Show me how to glorify You Father in my body and spirit. Holy Spirit I am Your temple and I ask that You help me to live holy before You. I declare I will do what You created me for. I pray the world sees You as You’re glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You Are a Changed Man!

December 14, 2017

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17, NKJV.

Pray this prayer with me today: Father we come to You in Jesus’ name, we give You all of the glory. Thank You Lord Jesus for saving me, even when I didn’t want to be. I am truly grateful for all You have done. Let no scars from my past hold me back. According to Hebrews 8:12, You remember my sins no more! We don’t hold any punches against the wicked one. He tried to take my life, but You have graciously given me life. I ask for power to release every trouble, every experience that I’ve been through, from bad financial choices to even prison. I’m letting go of ALL of my mistakes! They don’t define me. You define me. The old has passed away and in Christ all things are made new!

I thank You for how far I’ve come and rejoice in where I’m going. My past is gone and I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has changed my life! I don’t think the same, and I don’t drink the same. I’ve turned Jesus up and He helps me turn women down. I’m a new man. I am a changed man. I ask that You keep changing me. Father complete the work You’ve begun in me! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

It’s By His Spirit

December 8, 2017

“So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts” Zechariah 4:6, NKJV.

Pray this prayer with me: Father, we thank You today. We can not be who we’ve been called to be on our own. It is not by our own strength, but by Your Spirit. Fill us with Your Spirit Lord! Fill my cup Lord! Lead me Holy Spirit. Overflow in my life and in my heart Father. Help us, your sons, to flow with Your Spirit. Fill our hearts with Your mighty Word. Help us to depend on Your Spirit to walk in love. By Your Spirit, we have self-control, power and steady peace no matter the situation. By Your Spirit, we can provide for our family. By Your Spirit, You will show us how to prosper in everything we do and show us where Your promotion is for us. By Your Spirit, we can be great fathers. By Your Spirit, help us live, think and obey like Jesus. I declare I have the mind and wisdom of Christ. By Your Spirit, I overflow with Your joy, which is my strength! We can do it through Christ! Show us the things God has for us to come Holy Spirit. We lean upon You Holy Ghost for victory today! Glory to God! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

“It’s not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit. Utilize my Spirit at every turn. Let Him lead as you follow. Let Him be in front of you, not behind you. Allow Him, let Him, Yield to Him. My people must get filled with Me and they will see, they will see, then you will see, so come to Me, come to Me and watch Me bring you the victory, says God”.

Be a Humble Man

December 1, 2017

“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches and honor and life” Proverbs 22:4, NKJV.

Humility has several meanings, but one is to bend the knee out of high reverence and honor of God’s sovereignty. We decline on having control and we bend down in our heart, allowing God’s will as the only counsel that stands in our lives, even above our own. It takes a humble man to say He is King and then live like it. It takes a humble man to say I can’t do it, show me the way, and then give God room to show you how to get there.

Notice the Lord isn’t withholding what we all as men deep down desire–riches, honor and life. When we humble ourselves, He is allowed to be your Provider and will show you how to obtain riches the way HE WANTS you to obtain them. It may not be the way you expect, but you humble yourself to what He calls you to do. When we humble ourselves, He is our wisdom and our strength to be men of integrity and walk honorably in life. Then, the life and honor you desire as a man will come, whether from your wife, to within your career. He gives grace to the humble, empowering you to prosper, fueling your passion and faith. He will bless you with the life He has ordained for you.

It all begins with being a humble man that fears God, recognizing your unchanging need for Him and you let Him be Lord of your life, leading the way. We then move out of His seat, making empty His rightful place. When He is allowed in His rightful place in our lives, the stage is set for change. The stage is set for reaching your full potential as a man. Humble yourself and let Him exalt you today.

Prayer: Father, I sincerely thank You for Your Word. Humility is vital to my relationship with You and being a prosperous man. Help me to be a humble man and obey You. I admit that I can’t do it, but You can. I bend the knee of my heart and allow You to have Your way in me. I thank You according to Your Word, by humility and reverencing You, You will bless me with riches, honor and life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It’s a New Day

November 27, 2017

“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it” Psalm 118:24, NKJV.

God has never made anything the same including today. This is a new day. You’ve never had one like it, and you won’t ever have one like it again. See each day as valuable, full of blessings, new mercies, full of opportunities, full of learning, and victory.

Make the first thing you do as soon as your feet touch the floor, is rejoice and be glad to see a new day from God. He opened your eyes, HE did it, which should let you know there’s a divine plan for your life–and it’s a good one! The more you are simply thankful to see another day, the more you’ll live it. It’s not up to people. It’s not up to the devil. Your new day is up to you.

Regardless of what’s happening in your life, praise Him and have a new, fresh expectation of the Father. Today He will guide you, be good to you and be good through you. Be a light today. Let nothing keep you from sharing Jesus when God opens the door to it. Walk in joy today and give your best. Be determined to abundantly live your new day in God!

Prayer: Father, I thank You for waking me up. You have blessed me with life! You have a plan for me and it’s a good one. I’m expecting great things. I choose to live! I choose to rejoice and I choose to have faith in You. I will trust You. Help me to receive all that You have for me. Be glorified in my life today! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He’s Pruning Me

November 24, 2017

“I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn’t bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more” John 15:1-2, MSG.

Pruning means to cut off or cut back parts of for better shape or more fruitful growth. When a vine is pruned, it is being pruned for a stronger, better and longer life, and for the purpose of bearing more richer fruit. This is what God does with us.

There are things in our lives that are unfruitful, therefore, the Lord deals with us in those very areas, not to harm us, but for the purpose to bear more fruit in the likeness of Him. The fruit of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Galatians 5:22-23). If you are not bearing them, or you need more of them operating in your life, God is going to prune you.

He will cut away pride, anger, impatience, unsubmissive, discontentment, selfishness, offense, unforgiveness, envy, laziness, rebellion, unfaithfulness, fame-seeking, and other things that stagnant us from being Christ-like. He’ll use people to prune you. He doesn’t create them, but He will even use circumstances to prune you and work them for your good. Pruning precedes growth. Pruning precedes power. Pruning precedes purpose.

Don’t be afraid of His pruning process. Your best is coming out of you. Be a man that yields to what He tells you to do and allow God to make you richer, better and take you higher into the image of Christ.

Prayer: Father, it doesn’t feel good, but prune me. Make this man more like You. Work on me to bear more fruit for You. Cut away any sin and anything that is not like You. I yield and rely on You Jesus to give me the strength to stay within the process and grow more into the image of Christ. Thank You Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Know His Will for You

“Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is” Ephesians 3:17, NKJV.

The will of God is the compass of your life and His Spirit leads you according to it. When His will turns, we are to turn with it. When it is still, be still and know that He is God. When it moves forward, you move with it. His Spirit will always lead us into a blessed life. However, we can experience frustration, loss and unnecessary hardship when we attempt to make something His will–that is not.

From small to big decisions, no matter how great your desire is, no matter how badly you want to work for a specific company, no matter how much you want to stay or leave somewhere, no matter how good she looks, or how it appears, let your goal be to not confuse your own will with His.

Develop a habit of asking the Lord what His will is for you. It is unwise to live without understanding this and where He is ultimately taking you. The safest place for you is in the center of His plan, and we can’t afford to live outside of His will in these times.

People need you where He instructs you to be. You are blessed and the greatest blessing where He wants you to be and doing what He wants you to do. Where the Lord plants you, you will surely grow. Who He says to marry, that is what will last. Refuse to lean on your own understanding right now, no matter how something appears or feels. Trust in the will of the Father and be confident that He knows what you want. Everything you desire and more will be found in His will.

Prayer: Father, thank You for wisdom and counsel today. I humble myself and submit to Your will for me. Help me redeem the time because the days are evil and understand your will for me. Quicken me Holy Spirit to the knowledge of His will with the decisions before me and You will not lead me wrong. I believe You know what I need, and You want to bless me. I focus on Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Joy Set Before You!

October 22, 2017

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” Hebrews 12:2, NKJV.

The best way to set your joy before you is talking about your joy ahead. Whatever God is talking to you about, you should be talking about. Jesus always set His joy before Him. Throughout His whole life, He would mention the cross, but He talked a whole lot more about what was on the other side of the cross. There was a joy, a reward and a redemption for us that was so abundantly good, He talked about it and it helped Him endure.

I have a plan God gave me and I am waiting on a financial joy, and it seems like a long time. It couldn’t come any sooner. Yet the Lord told me it seems that way, it seems hard, it seems unbearable because you haven’t set the joy it before you. Then He told me begin to speak life and talk about what I’m about to do in your life.

Begin to talk about what He said He would do! You should be walking around and telling your wife, “It is going to be so good when that joy comes into our hands!” Tell your wife and children, “We’re going somewhere great!” Say what you’re going to do. Make plans for it! See yourself there, and even call it already done.

Your joy could be God told you something He is going to do in your life, healing or walking in your calling. Whatever the area is, set your joy before you by talking about it. It will be worth it and it will help you endure!

Prayer: Father, Glory to You this morning! You’ve given me a joy and I set it before me. With the power of life in my tongue, I talk about it! I say it’s going to be abundantly good! Allow what I say to affect what I think on, which is what You said You will do in my life. I thank You for it in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Your Source Comes First

October 15, 2017

“O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land where is no water” Psalm 63:1, NKJV.

“You need to check your Facebook and the news, you have to send that e-mail, you have to prepare to go to work, your wife wants to discuss those important plans, what about the electric bill, how will you elevate the business, you must decide about your mortgage, that big client is coming today and you have to get ready for that…”

In the morning, all of these things and more are waiting on you with pressure. They all say we come first. They are all say we’re most important, however, nothing is more vital than your time with God. Your relationship with Jesus is your greatest possession in these times. The wisdom for everything else hinges on it alone. You are about to travel on a road you have never been, and it is important to have your Guide close. You are in a dry land and He has all the water, from joy and peace, to patience and power, that you need.

Either we will seek God early prior to our success, or we will seek Him after our failure. The devil wants to rush you right past your relationship with the Lord today. Yes, you need the money. Yes, you need the deal. However, you need the will of God more.

Confession: God is my source for all things. Nothing is more important then seeking Him first. He is the key that unlocks every door. I will search for Him early. I will search for His wisdom early. I will search for His power early. I will seek Him first. I will inquire of Him and find out what He thinks. That’s my plan and He will handle everything else.

You’re at the 1-Yard Line

October 14, 2017

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him” James 1:12, ESV.

I’ve found in football, it always gets the toughest and the grittiest at the 1-yard line. The team with the ball meets their greatest challenge right before the end zone. Yet, the team with the ball is confident, coming to realize that if they’ve come this far down the field, they can do it, and there’s no reason to stop now. They’re almost there.

My brother, you’re almost there. You’re facing your greatest challenge, but that doesn’t mean something is wrong. You’re at the 1-yard line. You’re having to give everything you’ve got at the 1-yard line. At this pivotal point, the devil is throwing everything at you, trying to fight you the hardest because the greatest blessing in your life is on the other side. His tactic is to get you distracted off the goal God has given you. He is trying to turn your heart to pursuing the things of the world first, and not the things of God. You’re so close to entering into what the Lord created you for, and your visions and dreams from God are about to come to pass!

Why stop believing at the goal line? God has brought you too far to give in now. You’ve seen too much favor to know that He’s with you. He’s shown you too much to doubt yourself and what He put in you now, especially right before you receive. You are at the cusp of experiencing the most awesome time in your life, the most awesome place in God that you’ve ever been.

Prayer: Father, that’s what going on. I’m at the 1-yard line. It’s hard, but You’re harder! Your grace is sufficient. I ask that you renew my strength. Help me Holy Spirit to remain aggressive in prayer and seeking You. Through Christ, I will enter into what God has for me to do. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

An encouraging testimony!

September 16, 2017

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22, NKJV.

I had been working at this new company for 8 months, just working in the department that I had been hired to work in. I was fine with working there, but God told me that it was my time to leave and that He had some other people He wanted me to reach there, and He wanted to bless me.

One job I applied for, I had an interview and I never heard anything back from the hiring manager. I had to fight to not be discouraged. I then found two positions that I had interest in, but God said no, just apply for a specific one. So I did.

Two days later, a high-level woman who rarely comes to my department to get her packages, tells someone on this particular day that she’ll come pick it up. She then talks with my manager, who calls me over to meet her. God blessed my words and I spoke very well, causing her to be very impressed with me. I recognized I had favor with her also. At the very moment, I knew it was God helping me and His hand is in all of this. The interesting thing about it was because of her high-level position, she didn’t know that she was actually listed as the hiring manager for the one job the Lord told me to apply for!

I was then called for a phone interview, and then a three-panel interview. I could tell God’s grace was presentation and that this was for me. I then received a call with a job offer. God gave me a new position to reach others, and at the same time, making the highest salary I’ve ever had.

I can testify that He is good. Don’t give up on anything He has told you He will do for you. I didn’t get the first job because I wasn’t supposed to, and it would have paid a lot less than my new one. Whether financially or another area in your life, God wants to give you His best, so obey each step of direction that He provides. I did, and if He did it for me, know my brother He will do it for you.

Prayer: I give You praise Father for how You bless us! I’m encouraged this morning, and what You do for others, You will do for me. Help me to follow Your directions to lead me to my blessing. What You have for me, it is for me. I thank You for it now! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Rain or shine, I will seek the Lord!

June 25, 2017

“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” Jeremiah 32:17, NKJV.

When going through tough situations in your life, it can be a challenge to keep your mind on God. The situation is trying and uncomfortable. Your situation will tell you think on me. Put all of your energy, all of your focus and spend all of your time thinking about me. Give me all of your attention.

Yet, God also is right next to your situation, and says regardless of what you’re going through, you still need to think on Me. You still need to occupy your thoughts with My Word. Meditate on how great I am, and how I am Your peace. Meditate on there’s nothing too hard for Me, and there’s nothing I can’t do!

Ask yourself are you thinking more on the situation than on the God Who can change it? Your circumstance shouldn’t dictate your pursuit for God. Just as rain or shine you will go to work, rain or shine you will seek the Lord!!!

It’s tough, but seek the Lord! Your bank account may be low, but seek the Lord! It may be rocky right now, but seek the Lord! Don’t allow the situation to slow you down, to keep you from church, and from leading your home. Keep your mind on Him. Keep your desire on Him.

Confession: I’m going to trust God today! According to Jeremiah 32:17, there’s nothing He can’t do. Everything is going to be alright. I’m going to occupy my thoughts on His Word! When thoughts about my circumstance come, I’m going to stop myself and I will resist the temptation to think about it and keep thinking on His Word. I’m going to keep seeking Him. I praise Him now! Joy comes now! Hallelujah!

Taste and see that He’s good

June 11, 2017

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Psalm 34:8, NKJV.

Like a new restaurant, you’ve heard that God is good. You’ve been told countless of testimonies about how He opens doors where there appears to be none. You’ve heard He turns lives and marriages around. You keep hearing about this peace and joy that can keep you. You keep hearing that He will be all you need. He is good.

I assure you no one you have heard is making it up. He is a Waymaker and a life changer. He will give you the desires of your heart. He will bless you to the core of the real need you have. He will give you divine purpose and make something glorious out of your life. Yet, just as it would require you to leave home for a new restaurant experience you’ve only heard of, so you will have to leave a place of fear and doubt to see the goodness of God.

Try doing what He says and see He’s been waiting to be good to you. Try surrendering to His will, and you will see He’s been trying to get that blessing to you this entire time. You just needed to taste and see. Once you do, you will never be the same.

If you haven’t seen His goodness yet, ask yourself have you truly tried Him yet. Have you done what He told you to do yet? It’s time to do it. It’s time to trust Him brother. Then, you will see something. Then you’ll see how good He is and how blessed you become.

Prayer: Father, it’s time for me to taste and see that You are good in my life. Help me to put my trust in You and obey You. Help me to put my trust in your instructions, even in the face of challenges. Bless my Father. Bless my marriage Father. Bless my bank account. Bless the work of my hands. Finally get me over the humps in my life and I am going to see that You are good. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He won’t let you down

June 8, 2017

“When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad” Psalm 126:3, NKJV.

Throughout my entire life, I cannot think of a time where the Lord has let me down. Not one time. Not a moment that He was not there. Not an experience occurred that the Father didn’t carry me through. When it was all said and done, He always brought blessings and victory into my hands.

No experience will you go through where He is not there. The times you feel like He is there the least, are the times He is there the most. God is right there, and He will not let you down. Not one thing God has said will He not do for you. He will deliver you. He will help you. He will fulfill His promises.

He will come through for you each and every time. When He does, just as with Israel, it will be like a dream. You will say I didn’t see it coming. You will say how could He have done this. You will have great laughter when you see the great things the Lord has done for you. Praise Him now because He won’t let you down!

Prayer: Father, thank You for being here. No matter what I go through, I know that You are with me and You will not let me down. I will see once again how faithful You are. You are going to come through and when You do, it will be like a dream. I am going to laugh and say the Lord has done great things for me. It even makes me glad right now. I will trust You and I am victorious! Thank you Jesus! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Don’t lean to your own understanding.

June 6, 2017

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV.

One morning I woke up and I already woke up with the plan and what I thought I needed to do. Yet, as I sought God, as I went to Him about one thing, He showed me another and he revealed to me this is actually what I should do. This is My will and the direction for you. I said Okay God, I understand.

Have you ever woke up to your day and said this my plan, this is what I think I should do or work the situation out? Sometimes, we can go into something with our own preconceived plan. We don’t inquire of God about what is His solution or plan for us.

It’s important to find out what God’s plan is, before we run right past Him with our own. God may have something totally different in mind for you. He will have something much better, more glorious, more rewarding than you could ever imagine. Yet, it begins first with acknowledging and inquiring about His plan for you. What He desires, He provides for. He backs what He desires and it will stand.

Even in the beginning, everything God made once He said it was very good. So don’t approach the day, don’t go into this season in your life with your own plan, ask for His and then do it. It will turn out good for you.

Prayer: Thank You Father that You are all knowing and all powerful. You always know what to do. It may seem complicated, but it is simple for You. I acknowledge you now and lean not to my own understanding. Show me Your plan and that’s what I’ll do. I thank You now. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Jesus is Calling Forth

May 26, 2017

“Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come forth!’ And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go’.” John 11:43-44

Jesus called Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus was dead, but Jesus brought him back to life. In this hour, whatever is seems dead in your life, Jesus is calling you forth!

He’s calling you forth from procrastination. He calling you forth from fear. He’s calling you forth from a heart that pursues pleasures more than God. He’s desiring us to come out of debt. He’s calling lukewarm hearts to come forth! He’s calling you to a deeper love for His kingdom, His righteousness and the things of God. Nothing else matters than you receiving and embracing His calling and then watch everything in your life come alive. Because whatever Jesus calls forth, it comes alive!

For the man that use to love the Lord and spending time in His presence. For the man that use to love to pray, but now you solely love to watch sports. For the man that use to love studying God’s Word, but now you don’t. You use to be a man of ambition, bu now you’re a man of comfort. It is time to rise!

Some of us are afraid to be great. He is calling you forth from view yourself as ordinary to a place of extraordinary. Jesus says come forth now and take your place as a man for Him.

Confession: I hear my Lord calling me, all of me, forth. I will step forward and embrace my purpose. I will do what He has called you to do. I will love Him with all your heart, not just half of it. I will let go of this world for heaven. I will advance the kingdom! I will break forth! I will come forth!

The total package

May 7, 2017

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23, KJV

It’s wonderful to know that all of the fruits, or attributes, of God are wrapped up in the Holy Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith (faithfulness), meekness, temperance (self-control) all are found in His Spirit and He now lives in us. Therefore, God’s character, His very nature, is on the inside of us and He is ready to bear witness to the world through us that He lives. He is ready to show we have Who is higher and greater. He is ready to show His love to us and through us. He is ready to show a more excellent way.

When we behave like Him on our jobs, in leadership, in how we treat others, and even in a our challenges and storms, those around us will experience something that couldn’t be manufactured on our own, by only God Himself. They will experience the power, love and compassion of God Himself. It is truly divine and flows by His Spirit. He is the tree that bears these powerful fruits in our lives. The key is having constant fellowship with God and allowing His Spirit to lead us and reign in us by yielding to Him. Like naturally a healthy tree bears fruit, the Holy Spirit will bear His fruit in you and you will see you have the total package to handle any given situation.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Spirit, Who is on the inside of me. By Your Spirit, I can walk like You and bear fruit. Help me to daily seek and spend time in Your presence, and maintain a constant fellowship with You. Your fruit will automatically be expressed because I am full of the Holy Spirit. Through me, bear witness to the world by Your love that You live. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are the Church

April 9, 2017

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed” Luke 4:18, ESV.

These are not the days to be a believer that just goes to church. People are hurting and going through the deepest of situations. And with all that is happening around us, we have the answer. They need you and I to be the church. The same presence of God and power you experience at your church service, the same love you experience at your church service, is the same power and love that you carry everywhere you are. It is because Christ lives in you and you are the church. The kingdom of God is in you.

Don’t just go to church. Be the church. Be an extension of Jesus Christ. Be His hands and reach out. Be His feet and go to someone’s need. Be His heart and listen to someone’s situation to help deliver them. You are equipped with His Word and the Holy Spirit, anointed to be like Jesus. People may not come to your church, but nothing says you can’t take the church to them. Let His love, power, wisdom and authority flow through you. Offer pray to someone, ask them do they have a need and meet it, share the wisdom of God, be good to them like the Lord would, empower and build them up, set them free! You are the church!

Prayer: Father, thank You for making me the church. I see the church isn’t the four walls, but it is us Your people. Show me more how I can be the church wherever I am and with whoever I meet. If someone isn’t coming to church, give me the courage to take the church to them. Christ lives in me. The kingdom is in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Settle down in your calling.

March 11, 2017

“Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all” 1 Timothy 4:14-15, NKJV.

Timothy was a young man, and he was about to embark on being a pastor. The Apostle Paul knew the gift that was passed down to him. He knew the calling on his life. It was now time for Timothy to receive it and walk in it. It wasn’t time to be doing a lot of different things, but to give himself and settle down into his ultimate calling from God.

It’s time to receive and settle down into your calling and purpose. As men, we can find ourselves having many projects, but no evident progress. We can be like a mechanic, working on ten different cars in the shop, but none of them are running well. Receive what your purpose is, and go hard after that. Give yourself wholly to that, and then you will see great progress, the grace of God, the blessings, the favor, and the power that the Father has preordained for you to walk in.

Some pursuits may be a good thing, but not a God thing. You aren’t called to do it all my brother. Timothy had to settle down in his calling and run his course. So do you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word and I know You have called me to do a mighty work in these times. Give me clarity on what my calling and purpose is, and let go of what I don’t need to be doing. I ask for the courage and faith to settle down in my calling and run hard my course with an action plan from You. I praise You for the evident progress as I give myself wholly to it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Learning Patience

February 24, 2017

“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:4, NKJV

Sometimes, we wonder why God hasn’t moved yet. Why something hasn’t happened yet, or when will God allow you to do something. God is just as a natural father, and sometimes, He will shape in our character patience. It may not feel good at the moment, yet, once patience is complete, you won’t lack the perfect will of God for your life.

Patience produces priority in our lives, establishing what is more important and more needful for us. Patience produces the right perspective, humbling our hearts to be thankful and content with God being God alone. Content with knowing He knows whats best for you. Above all, God is working in you the attribute of trusting Him, to where when He blesses you with what you desire, it won’t turn you away from Him because you can handle it.

Let patience have her perfect work. Like being in the next room in your home, know that God is in another room, working on something needful in you that you are not aware of. He is preparing a woman for you that you are not aware of. He is opening doors that you are not aware of. He is working on blessing you with something far better than what you could ask for. He is building your trust in Him and preparing you for glorious things.

Prayer: Father, You are a good God and I have to admit, my faith is being tested and You are teaching me how to be patient. It is hard, yet it is doing an invaluable work in my life. It is humbling me, knowing that You are God and You know what I need. You know what’s best for me. Help me to learn patience right now and to know that You are working on something great for me. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It’s All Through Christ

February 17, 2017

“Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” Hebrews 13:21, KJV.

At least thirty times in the New Testament and even much more, you will see God make reference to being in Christ, through Christ, by Christ, or by Him. It is even mentioned in scripture to put on Christ. This tells us that we should always be seeking to do the Father’s will–through Christ. It is by Christ Jesus that we are who we are, do the good work that we can do and be well pleasing in God’s sight in how we live.

Everything we do, everything we accomplish, any power that we walk in to have a victorious christian life is through the grace found in Christ. He is our ability. There is no overcoming, except by Jesus Christ, and without Him, even being a strong man, you cannot overcome the enemy alone.

Through Christ, you receive power to do the will of God. You will find power to love your enemies. You can receive grace to fast. You can say the right things. You are a focused man, a man under control. You can resist those temptations. In Christ, you’re unstoppable!

By yourself, you can’t do it. Yet, just like stepping into a suit of superpowers, when you step into Him in prayer and yield to Christ in you, you step into His grace, His love, His joy, His wisdom, His power, to execute the will of God for your life.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for letting me know how much I need to depend on Jesus and to live pleasing to You. It’s all in Christ. I ask that You help me to apply this truth and as I pray, I put on Christ today. I yield to the Jesus in me. It is through Christ, in Christ, and by Him that I live victorious! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are Justified by His Grace

February 8, 2017

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” Romans 3:23-24, KJV.

You are justified and cleansed through the precious blood of Jesus and nothing and no one can dump the trash of your past on you again. You are clean in God’s sight. You are justified in His sight. You are righteous in His sight, and it’s not because of anything you’ve done, it’s because of what Jesus did for you over 2,000 years ago.

To justify means to render innocent. It’s a legal term that declares you’re not guilty. When you know you are justified and made righteous through Jesus, it protects you every time the enemy comes to remind you of your past. It covers you to where those old triggers just don’t work anymore.

God allows some experiences in your life to show you how much you’ve grown in Him and how deep your faith has become. Since you’ve come this far, keep going farther! Keep having faith in Jesus, the one who has justified you and made you right! Keep receiving His grace!

Prayer: Yes, Lord. I receive your word and I thank you. Thank you that I’m clean and justified in your sight, not by my works, but through Jesus. My slate is clean and there is no residue. Your grace and mercy washed it all away. Hallelujah! Because you’ve justified me, help me Lord not to behave like a condemned sinner. I’m justified and cleansed through Jesus and my name is written in the Lamb’s book of life. Let that awareness fill me with great joy! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
