“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work” John 9:4, NKJV.
Jesus knew He was on the earth for a specific reason. While He was living, He worked the works of God.
Your life is your season. It is your day. One day night will come, and you will ask yourself whether I did the works of God while I had the chance. While you are living, while you have the strength, while your mind is sharp, while the idea is fresh, while the doors are open, work while it’s day.
While it’s day, while the kids are young, enjoy them. While you have your wife, bless her. While you can encourage your friends, call and impact them. Night will come, and one day they will be gone.
There is also a season for all things, and we have to be mindful of the timing of God. When it is your season, your time, and His Spirit is moving on your heart. Work the works of God. Be strong and advance His kingdom. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
Prayer: Father, I give You all the praise, honor, and glory today. Thank You for all that You are doing in my life. I pray for myself and other men to understand our time and season. I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me. Help us to seize every moment and work while it’s day. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
