Many times we think on just the actual death of Jesus, yet let’s consider what it took to redeem us. Jesus had to walk on this earth sinless to be the perfect sacrifice. He had to be blameless, walk in love and He did it. The same fight you have each day, he fought them all and won them all. He knows and He cares about the sin you daily face. He knows and cares about your situation, even the complexity of it. No one else may know you, but He sincerely knows what it’s like as a man to be tempted or challenged with in every imaginable way. He also knows how to overcome it. He knows how to overcome any challenge you face. If you are struggling, you can do it through Him. He can and will be your Champion.
Prayer: Thank You Father for a new day. Jesus You are my Lord and King. You are my Champion. I come boldly to You to get the help I need. You were tempted at all points and did not sin. You were tempted but overcame every challenge. Show me and help me do the same. I believe and receive that You can help me to champion over sin. Through You, I believe I can champion over my situation. You overcame! I can and will overcome any sin in my life today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
