“He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places” Psalm 18:33, KJV.
A hind or female red deer have feet that allow them to easily climb rough, mountainous areas. They can tread on rocky terrain, scale mountains gracefully, leap even 12-15 ft. high, and reach the top of high places. You may be facing a challenge now, but hear the Lord:
Do not fear. I will make your feet like hinds’ feet and set you in high places.
The Lord is giving you hind’s feet to reach the high places He’s called you to. The Lord is your Rock, and salvation. You will not fear. You can go as high as you need to go in your life. No matter the rough terrain you experience, the Lord is empowering you to leap over it. You can walk on top of them, using them as the footing for your next ascent. One after another, as you walk by faith, the Lord is using them to catapult you. Your destiny is high places.
Prayer: Father, I praise You today. What a joyful truth to know that You make my feet like hinds’ feet. I thank You for the hinds’ feet, strength, and confidence that I can overcome all obstacles. I ask for Your grace, and I receive it to leap with ease and to tread all rough terrain. Through Christ, I’m reaching my high places. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
