“Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble†2 Peter 1:10, NKJV.
Beyond what you see and hear naturally, are you hearing the chariots prepare? Do you hear heaven’s roar? The Lord is returning and He says time is of the essence.
Make your calling and election sure. Make the most of your open doors. Take your time with nothing, but with pace move into His will. Focus on growing in God and abiding in his word. Make those calls to the people God lays on your heart, for they just may need to hear from you. Pour wisdom into your children, setting them on the right path. Romance your wife and love her dearly. Give yourself away. By faith break forth man of God! Work the works of Jesus while it is day, for the night comes where no man can work.
Like skydiving from thousands of feet in the sky, jump completely into the Lord. Jump completely into your call. Time is of the essence.
Prayer: Father, I hear you. Beyond what I see and hear naturally, I hear the Lord is coming. The kingdom is at hand. Help me to make my calling and election sure, and I won’t fall. People are hurting and have need of you. I’m jumping, Father. Time is of the essence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
