Move into your purpose.

December 26, 2023

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” Jeremiah 1:5, ESV.

A dear friend was successful as an engineer but one day decided to become a parole officer. He’s never been happier and more fulfilled.

It is striking to wake up on the inside during your lunch break or at your computer on your job that’s frustrating you, to wake up after you are running your business to the truth that you are not fulfilling your purpose in life. Just maybe this career path you have been grinding for years as if you were in a coal mine isn’t why God put you here.

Only God’s purpose, what He created us to do, will fulfill you. Just something or just anything won’t due. Just something or just anything won’t fit. Only God knows what fits. Yes, God can provide for you financially from your purpose. He can richly satisfy you in your place of purpose. There’s a peace, a rest that comes from living in that place alone. It can’t be manufactured or duplicated.

Don’t let fear keep you from your leap. God’s covenant and what He formed you for is the sure way to live. God will not fail you! He will not let you down. He will be the wind beneath you, and you will soar like an eagle in your purpose.

Prayer: Father, thank you for having a purpose for my life. That is what I want to do. Along with being created to know you, please show me what you put me on this earth to do. Help me to go hard after your calling for me. Thank you for being in the place where I’m blessed, satisfied, and the greatest blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
