“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” John 14:1-3, NKJV.
Jesus’ trade while he lived on the earth was carpentry. He was and is the Master Builder. Before Jesus died, he said that he was leaving, yet he told us what he was going to do. Jesus is preparing a place for you!
Countless people have witnessed what heaven is like. Whether they had a near-death experience or a God-given vision, they all agreed on the beauty and awesome wonder of heaven. Jesus, Himself is the light there, and it is full of the glory of the Lord. There is no pain. There is no more death or sorrow. He wipes the tears from our eyes there, and since we have been washed in the blood of the Lamb, the Father will say welcome into the joy of the Lord.
Jesus wants you to know that there is a place being made for you. Let it remind you why you do what you do. May the knowledge of heaven fill you with great joy. May the knowledge of heaven put everything in perspective and mightily inspire you to keep going, to finish your course with joy, and bring someone with you.
Prayer: Father, I praise You. Thank you, Jesus! It brings me great joy to think about heaven and that you are preparing a place for me. I pray for the unsaved to repent and come to know Jesus. I want everyone to go to heaven, and I pray they simply ask, believe, and receive the free gift of salvation through your Son. Help me to keep an eternal perspective about my life. Living for you is good, and it’s all worth it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
