“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:6, NKJV.
It’s not easy when you feel like so much is against you, but He’s going to finish what He started in you. You may feel you’ve got a long way to go and how in the world will you get there, but He’s going to finish what He started in you. He will do it. Not you. The stress comes when we place the responsibility on finishing our story on ourselves, instead of on the Lord. You will feel a whole lot better as you take the responsibility and pressure off of yourself, and let it rest in God and in the love He has for you His son.
As you place your focus on His ability, on His love, on His mercy, you’ll quit worrying. It won’t be you anyway. It will be Him. You just continue to seek Him and keep walking in your relationship with Him. He’s going to bless you. He’s going to deliver you. He’s going to finish it.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for Who You are in my life. You are my Finisher. What you’ve started in me, I believe You are going to finish in me. You will do it, not me. Help me to just keep seeking You, live free of care and leave it in Your hands. I feel a lot better. I choose to trust You will get me to every destination you have for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
