When you’re weary, He will show up and help you.

October 15, 2023

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” Galatians 6:9, NKJV.

“Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders— he’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out” Psalm 55:22, Message Bible.

Yesterday, I was cleaning out the garage and dropped some things off at the landfill. I had already made a trip there and threw away many things. However, I started to get weary at the very last heavy item. Just having to look at it alone and the thought of having to pick it up caused me to feel tired. Then, a man showed up at that very moment and parked behind me, got out of his truck, and decided to help me pick it up and throw it into the dumpster.

We all get tired sometimes. You may feel weary and tired now, but the Lord will come right on time to help you do what you can’t do by yourself. He is a very present help for us. This means the first thing on God’s mind, the Father’s first intention of being present in your life, is to show up and help us. He is our help of strength and grace when it feels like we can’t go another step. It may look heavy before you, but nothing is impossible for your God. He’s going to come and pick it up for you and bring great joy to your soul.

Prayer: Father, I thank you and give you praise. I am tired and don’t know how, but nothing is impossible for you. I ask for your divine help and grace to intervene in my life. I believe your love will intervene for me. I give it all to you. You are my Father, and I believe you will pick it up and help me reap what you have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
