“The soul (appetite) of the lazy person craves and gets nothing [for lethargy overcomes ambition], but the soul (appetite) of the diligent [who works willingly] is rich and abundantly supplied” Proverbs 13:4, Amplified.
The Lord has a lot in store for you. He has plans to prosper you and for you to be in good health. There is an expected end for you. Yet, it requires your diligence and your willingness to focus and work. Work given toward whatever He asked you to do. There’s no workaround or shortcut, but the grace of God is with you. His grace is like a wind of strength that gets behind you. The Holy Spirit will inspire you with vision, lead, and help you get it done. He says rise and run in your season. You can sit and rest well but don’t rest too long. Work now. Rest later.
Prayer: Father, I praise and worship you. Forgive me if I’ve been lazy about what you asked me to do. I desire all of the plans and blessings you have for me to be fulfilled in my life. Help me to be a diligent man. Lead and inspire me, Holy Spirit, and by your supernatural grace, I will get it done. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
