“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does” James 1:22 & 25 NKJV.
From one man to another, as men, we can talk a lot and have vision and many plans. Yet if we’re not careful, we can find ourselves talking more than what we’re doing. This is not an hour for talk, but an hour to do. Quit talking about what you’re going to do for your wife. Just do it. Quit saying you are going to launch it. Just launch it.
Most of all, it’s not only being a hearer of God’s word that will cause great manifestation and blessing in our lives but being a doer of it. It’s not the talking that will make your year different. It will be the gritty decision you make to do differently. This is strong truth and strong love when God says straight to your face–quit being a talker. Be about it.
Be encouraged to obey God because He wants to make you a great blessing this year. By His supernatural grace, He will bless your doing to reach your full potential and be the man he called you to be.
Prayer: Father, thank you for good, strong truth in love. You’re right. My talking won’t get my life to change. I have to be a doer. Help me, Jesus, to be a doer like you in my home and life. I’m done talking. As I move forward and do, you will bless my doing and manifest great things in and through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
