“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” 2 Corinthians 4:17, NKJV.
God has set enormous oceans and seas to only be able to come so far inland. It can rage loudly, whirl, and rise up high all it wants, but God has established it cannot go past His boundary. Your enemies can try all they want, but God has established they will not get past Him. He is on your side!
No matter who or what you feel is against you and what is pursuing to hinder you, God will not allow you to become your enemy’s prey. Things may look like you will finally be snared. However, you are finally coming out. It may look like that blessing is going to slip through your hands, but you will receive it and it will work out better than you could have planned. Your faith may be tried, but know that God is in control. You are in a controlled environment, no matter how it appears, and it is molding and shaping you. This moment is working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
Prayer: Thank You, Lord! I give You praise today. You are in control and I trust You. I will not become my enemy’s prey. Mold me and shape me. Make me completely into the man You desire. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
