“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV.
On my job, I was asked to do something I had never done before, and I have to admit, I had to deal with the fear of doing something new. I had to deal with not being the one teaching, but being the one that has to be taught. I am now sitting in a room with people who know more than me, and it signified that I’ve entered a door to a higher place in my life, a new level in my life.
Don’t be afraid to step into something new. Don’t be afraid to be in a room with others who know more than you. It’s only the beginning of a new level, a new place in your life. The sooner you accept the place of starting over in a new place, the higher God can take you. The sooner you’ll arrive at where you know you’re called to go to all along. God said He would take you higher, and He says don’t allow fear to keep you from it.
Prayer: Father, I accept the place You are calling me to. It is new and there’s a part of me that feels afraid, but I choose to trust You. Fear won’t keep me from it. As I enter the door of a higher place, help me stay humble and to learn what You are wanting me to learn in the new place. I know it’s the beginning of something great in my life and I will step into what’s uncomfortable, into what’s new. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
