“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24, NKJV.
The secret to a man’s successful career is doing what he does as unto the Lord.
Do it with all your heart unto Him. You see, we are committed to serving God first, and out of your servitude to Him, flows the love and the heart you need to sincerely serve others. When we make a decision to do all we do as to the Lord, He will reward us. Even if it’s not the job you desire right now, choose an attitude treat it like it as You wait on Him with your next assignment. When we do it for Him, good things will happen and promotion will follow.
You may not work with the best of people, but you walk with the best God. By His Spirit rise above it, and love anyway. In these times, this is a place that your light is needed the most. There may be very well an opportunity of ministry in disguise.
I believe with your attitude to work as unto God, not man, it will produce incredible results in your life.
Prayer: Lord, I choose to do everything with all my heart as unto you. My job is one of
my ministries. Thank you that when it gets tough, you help me be tougher. Strengthen me Lord according to your word. Help me remember to do all I do with all my heart as to you and not man. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
