“I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” Psalm 27:13-14, ESV.
I have always found God faithful to His word. He’s been mighty, even when I had no strength, and had no idea He was carrying me. If I didn’t know He was good, I would have given up in secret.
He takes care of all of His children. In His perfect timing, He will always bring the best out of a situation, the best out of you, and the greatest blessing to you. He is perfect in regarding the work He performs in us. He is sovereign, and even when it doesn’t appear any good will come out of your test or pain, He brings you through it and uses it to create the masterpiece of your life.
Therefore, wait on the Lord! This means to expect Him to do what He said He would do. Expect Him to keep His covenant. You will see His goodness toward you, my brother. He is a good Father. So take courage, and through it, all, wait on the Lord!
Prayer: Father, I praise you. You are good! I’m going through some things, even some pain, but I will trust You! Something awesome will come out of this. Even more of Jesus formed in me. I will not faint now because I believe you are good! I will expect to receive your best. I choose to take courage and wait on you. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
