Slow down your life in the trial.

June 3, 2021

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure…if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” Philippians 4:8, KJV.

You may be in the middle of a trial or trouble, but it doesn’t mean you have to be troubled. You can take your moments and choose to be stressed, or you can take your moments and be thankful and pray.

Slow down your life. We can be in a rush to find our way out of it, and totally miss what God is doing through it. Slow down in those moments and find what is true, what is good, praiseworthy and think on those things in the midst of it.

I guarantee you will find God, even in the chaos.

Just knowing and thinking on these things you’ll find calm in the sea, and peace in your soul. That alone will cause you to open your mouth no matter what you see or hear in your moment and confidently thank Him! Because the Father is with you, there’s nothing too hard for Him and there’s nothing you won’t get through.

Prayer: Father, thank You for this moment with You and allowing me to understand what You’re doing in my life right now. I slow down and choose to pray and praise. No matter the moment, help me to slow down and think on whatsoever things are according to Your unchanging word. Help me to continually slow down and I will always find You in the chaos. Thank You already for the victory I have in Christ! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
