He is a safe place.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” Proverbs 18:10, NKJV.

There’s nothing like being in God. He is a safe place.

When buying a house, one of the first questions you want to know is whether it is safe. Is the foundation built strong? Is it dependable and solid? You even have it inspected because it doesn’t matter how good it looks on the outside, it must be safe enough to cover you and your family.

God is safe enough for you. His word has been inspected, tried through and through. His will is solid enough for you. In this hour, He will cover you. It may look like on the outside what prayer can do, what can allowing Him to direct your path do, what can being in His will do, but those are the things that will abundantly bless your life.

This year, in the Lord, is the safest place to be. Decide to do what He says, work where He says work regardless of the salary, marry the woman He tells you to marry, live where He says to live, plant yourself in a church, and walk in love. He will help you withstand anything.

Prayer: Lord, I rejoice in You. I have run into You, and I am safe. You are my strong Tower, and I’m at rest in You. I will always find provision in my life. Help me, Father, to humble myself to Your will this year. In You is the safest place to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
