“The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad!” Psalms 97:1 ESV.
“The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt. Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty!” Psalm 93:1 & 4, ESV.
As you look out on the landscape of your day and your life, the hand of God is reigning over it all. Strength is the belt of the Lord! Understand with joy that the Lord is mighty and that He reigns. When you see the Lord as He is, you’ll see that the devil may form a weapon, but it won’t prosper because the Lord reigns! When you understand that not just some but all power is in His hands, in the face of mighty waters you can rejoice because He’s mightier than them all! He has all dominion and authority, His word never fails and the earth is His footstool every second of your life.
He will always have the final say. Tell every situation of your life that the Lord reigns!
Prayer: Father, I glorify you and thank you for who you are. You are King and you reign! Help me to rest in knowing that you are sovereign over every situation. I submit to you being Lord in my life. I will let nothing rob my peace and joy today. No matter what the devil says, you will have the final say because you reign. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
