“Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]” Romans 13:8, Amplified, Classic.
“…For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away” James 4:14, NKJV.
I went to my Aunt’s homegoing and was reminded how short life can be. Even when we live long, it’s still a brief moment. With all the things we experience that are hurtful to each other on our journey, I’m reminded how life is too short to hold on to stuff. It’s best to let it go.
While you’re on this earth, pursue to do three things each day: Love everybody. Forgive everybody. Help somebody. Doing these three simple things will make the Lord smile and please Him with your life. You’ll live a free and happy life. You’ll change someone’s life. Your life would have had meaning when you’re gone.
Prayer: Father, thank You for this great reminder, especially in these times. Help me not hold on to stuff. Life is like a vapor. Help me to let it go. Help me, Jesus, to love everybody, forgive everybody and help somebody today. May I walk out my life purpose and leave a mark when I’m gone. This will make You happy, Father, and You’ll bless me to live a free and happy life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
