“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you” Psalm 56:3, ESV.
“My peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you…Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” John 14:27, ESV.
When fear comes, it comes to grip our lives, especially in these times. When you recognize it attempt to grip your life, stand on the word of God. Stand not only on His written word, but also on what He has specifically said He will fulfill in your life, and those close to you. If He said it, He will do it, and no devil in hell can change what God has promised.
Standing on the word means to apply it in your moment. Stand on the word with prayer, including agreeing with others to stand with you. Speak what He said specifically to you what He will do and set your faith there.
God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are equipped to not allow fear or any form of it, to rob your joy, your peace, or your ability to emotionally and mentally function. A stronger Man has come, Who is Jesus Christ and you will not be afraid.
Prayer: Father, I praise You. With so much happening, when fear tries to grip me, I choose to stand on Your word. Remind me Holy Spirit of what You said will come to pass and help me to immediately walk by faith and receive it. Let that be my response. I cast my care on You today. Jesus is greater in me, and I will not be afraid. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
