Real Peace, Real Rest

October 10, 2021

“For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. There remains therefore a rest for the people of God” Hebrews 4:3 & 9, NKJV.

You may see a lot of unrest, but the Father wants you to rest. You may see a lot of trouble, but the Father doesn’t want you to be troubled.

God wants us to enter into a place of rest in our lives by faith in His word. Things that can trouble us, make us fearful, or burdened down, don’t bother us like they use to. We believe God and rest.

God doesn’t want your rest and peace to be dictated by circumstances; that isn’t real. If good things are happening, you’re a happy man. Yet, if you see or hear of trouble, in an instant, your mood changes, and you are troubled and burdened. Just like you put a letter within an envelope and seal it there, put your faith in Him, and seal it there–and rest. He is in control, so rest. He has a real rest and a real peace He wants you to walk in, and bless your life, and be a light for Him.

Prayer: Father, I desire real peace and real rest. Help me to believe You when you tell me You got me. Help me to guard what I’m watching and hearing. I come against being troubled and fear. I will not come short of this promised rest. I thank You for rest and peace because I believe You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
