“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart” Hebrews 4:12, Amplified.
When all kinds of thoughts are coming to your mind. When you feel like doubt is having a fistfight with your faith. It’s good to put aside how you feel and speak His word. It’s good to sit still, declare it and bring it close to your situation. Sit that word right in the middle of it, and let it go to work in your life. Sit that word right in the middle of the mental struggle and all the emotions you’re experiencing and let it go to work in you. That’s what He left His powerful word to do for you. He will speak to you. Let Him remind you of who you are. Let Him remind you of what your end will be.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for a new day. I put aside my feelings and speak Your word. I put aside the facts, and speak Your truth. I am Who You say I am and I can do what You said I can do. You have begun a good work in my life and you will complete it. I sit Your word right where I am and receive that You will speak and remind me of Who You are and my expected end will be. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
