“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” Isaiah 43:19, NKJV.
A horse wears blinders that cause them to see only what’s before them. In life, we can also operate with blinders, where we are so used to God moving one way. We can find it hard to see beyond an old way when He moves in a new way.
He brings shifts into our lives to help us arrive at those great destinations we dream of. It is a new time and a new season for you. You see it, and you know it. God is doing something new in and for you, and He isn’t doing the old things you are used to. Your journey is shifting. He is asking you to move with Him, even if it’s different, even if it’s uncomfortable. You may have to press into it, and the winds may blow from your past, but move into something new for your life.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the new thing you are doing in me. Help me to let go of the old and receive the new season. You are moving in a new way. Help me forget what’s behind me. Help me by faith to yield to you and move with you. I rejoice because you care for me, and you have great things in store for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
