“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” Matthew 6:33, NKJV.
There’s so much happening in these times, and everything you see around you says let go of seeking after God’s kingdom and His righteousness–first. Stop going to church, stop serving and giving. Only focus on yourself. Don’t be subtly moved. God’s word and His ways have not changed. What the Father said He will do has not changed. Seek His kingdom and righteousness first, and no matter what is happening in the world, He will add the things to you that the devil wants you to put ahead of God.
Fulfillment and rest follow ministry–your service. Money follows ministry, not the other way around. Continue to let God reign. Keep seeking first to make God-directed decisions and impact lives in any way you can. He will never fail to abundantly take care of you.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your word. Help me not to improperly seek first the things You said You would add to me. I will not be moved. I desire to be a man full of joy, at peace and fulfilled. I’m seeking Your kingdom and righteousness first, trusting You. You will handle the rest. With what You’ve given me, show me how to advance Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
