He Sent Me to You…

January 25, 2022

Then the Lord sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: “There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor” 2 Samuel 12:1, NKJV.

God spoke to the prophet Nathan to give a word to King David. God sent him to someone to tell him something that opened his eyes and changed his life.

God can not only send us to a place, or to a people. He can send us to a specific person. That’s what happened to the Prophet Nathan. We don’t know if he heard God audibly or to his heart. Either way, God will speak and send.

Be mindful when God by His Spirit places someone on your heart. God may very well be sending you.

He may be sending you to give them a word in season, or to minister prophetically to them. It could be something that corrects them in love, like David, in regards to something they don’t see. He may be sending you to simply bless them with your support or company when unaware, they needed it the most. Whatever word that may be, fulfill these assignments that appear small to the eye, but are big in impact. Pursue to be in tune with the Holy Spirit, because that word could be a word that gets them through a rough moment and change someone’s life.

Prayer: Father, I give you praise. As you did with Nathan, so do with me. Send me. Help me to be in tune with You Holy Spirit to be mindful when you are sending me to someone. What a blessing to be sent to someone in these times. Help me to view these as important and as assignments from you. I declare great things as I yield to You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
