Release It to Him

September 15, 2021

“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7, NKJV.

“Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” Matthew 6:27, NKJV.

dMany times what keeps us from truly living free and having joy is we still hold on to life situations and our past, instead of releasing them over to God. We pray, but then we begin to burden ourselves with deep thoughts like why did it have to happen, why now, I shouldn’t be in this situation, and what about them. We prayed, but then we can find ourselves behaving as if we didn’t.

There is power in releasing it all over to the Lord. Release all your care over to God, and leave it to the One that has all power in His hands. Release that heaviness about your son or daughter, that person, your marriage outcome, your job, your financial increase and provision over to the Almighty God. Release the stress of when, how He’s going get them through it, and what will He use to work it out. Release all your questions about can He restore you. Release every regret.

Your constant worry won’t change anything, but your faith in God will. Release it my brother and live. Let your concern be to pray, do your part in obeying Him, and then release it by faith to the Lord.
Prayer: Father, thank You today for Your Word and I choose to release this situation over to You. I lift my hands and release it now! I release my marriage, my son, my daughter, my business, my ministry, to You. You hold all my victories! It’s in Your hands now and I’m free to live and have joy. Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
