“So when they were filled, He said toHis disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.” Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten” John 6:12-13 NKJV.
Always keep your fragments. It will remind you that God moved for you before. It reminds you what God can do. You were hungry, and He did a miracle and fed you before. He is able to do it again.
You may need a miracle. You may need a way made for you. You are without right now. You need a meal right now, and you don’t know where it will come from. Do you have a fragment somewhere to remind you of what the Father did before? Jesus said to make sure nothing is lost and wasted, and keeping those fragments in reach in difficult times is meant to be a great source of joy for you. There is something in your life that you can remember that says the Father fed me before. He will provide for me again. He will bring me to make it through again.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the fragments in my life of what you have done for me. May I locate and keep my fragment of when you moved in a great way and blessed me. In trying moments, help me to remember what you did for me. I receive joy, patience, and a great resolve today. If you did it before, you will do it again. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
