“The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation” Psalms 118:14, NKJV.
The Lord is your strength and our song. The standing power you have in the face of adversity is because of the Lord in your life. When you don’t feel like you can’t stand, it is beyond your comprehension how the Lord stands up in you. His word stands up in you and gives you joy and strength. He is your song. We sing about what’s good to us. We sing songs that we deem as classics to remember and they make us feel hopeful and encouraged. When we travel, we go to a song to sing along the journey. Your God is too good. While you are on your road, God is your song along the way, and as you do, He’ll remind you that everything’s going to be alright.
Let Him be your strength and song today. What a powerful combination at work in your life.
Prayer: Thank you, Father, that you are my strength and my song. Even as a man, help me to sing about you. You are good. Help me make you my song for living. With you being my song, I thank you for an overflowing joy and hope knowing you are my salvation, and everything is going to be alright. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
