“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].
Fear is the one spirit that the Father wanted to speak about and be very clear, plain, and direct. He says I didn’t give you that spirit. If fear is at the core of motivating what you do, if it’s impacting your mind, how you think and your peace, how you respond, who you let in, how you trust God, the lenses you see yourself through, how you see this awesome life He’s blessed you with, God says I didn’t give you that spirit. I didn’t write all My promises for you to live like that. My Son didn’t save and redeem you to live like that.
Not like that.
I declare you will recognize it anywhere in your life, and the truth of God’s word and love is liberating you today. Jesus came to free you and gave you His Spirit. Be determined to let only the Holy Spirit govern you, steer your life, empower you, grace you, and fill you with joy and love. Let Him be the only Spirit that says you’re a great man, and that’s what you receive.
Prayer: Hallelujah, Father! Thank you for the truth of your word and your love. I receive it. That spirit of fear, you didn’t give me that. I bind it, and I will not live according to it. I’m free to live according to your Spirit and every promise you’ve provided for me. Through Christ, I will live free and strong. I’m a great man, and that’s what I receive. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
