“Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother” 1 Corinthians 1:1, NKJV.
The most important aspect of this scripture is not that Paul said he was an apostle. It isn’t even that he was called of Jesus Christ. The most invaluable insight here is that he was who he was through knowing it was the will of God.
You are not a happen-stance. You can receive that your calling is God’s will for you because God has designed and fully equipped you for it. You can operate in your with strong confidence when you understand before you were even conceived in your mother’s womb, it was His will for your life. It is established, never to be revoked, altered, stripped away, or changed.
As you pursue to walk out your calling each day, be assured God is with you. No matter the obstacle, you are not alone. His will is backing you. His love and favor are with you. You can operate in authority because He made you, He put you exactly where you are, and no weapon will prosper against you because of His predestined plan for you!
I know of no one that can turn the will of God from you. I know of no mistake that can turn the will of God from you. He has authored it and He will help you finish your specific assignment on the earth. You will be who you are called to be through the will of God.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the truth of Your word. Help me to stand firm that You have called me and it is Your will for my life. Through Your will, I am blessed and graced to walk in it. I declare I am called and through the will of God, I won’t be stopped. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
