“For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning” Psalm 30:5, ESV.
“From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised!” Psalm 113:3, ESV.
If you notice no matter how dark it gets in the night, the sun rises and breaks through it. It is never held back or restrained. God has commanded it to rise. The sun will always come.
I don’t know what you’re facing, but God has ordained the sun to rise into your life. It may look dark right now but don’t worry. Joy will come in the morning. There is a light in you, Jesus Christ, that even death could not stop from rising. You will feel the rays and the warmth of the goodness of God again, even when you least expect it. Because you have the Son, it will get brighter in my life.
So as the rising of the sun, let your praise to the Lord be the same today. Let it rise. This is the day that He has made for you, rejoice and be glad in it. Hold fast because He’s turning it around for you. Like the sun, your joy will come.
Prayer: Father, I give you praise! I thank you that joy comes in the morning. My sun will always come. Jesus is on my side, and because I have the Son, it will always get brighter in my life. You will provide. Lead me Holy Spirit and help me to let my light shine. Be glorified today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
