Who has your conversation?

February 4, 2023

“I will bless Adonai at all times; his praise will always be in my mouth.
When I boast, it will be about Adonai; the humble will hear of it and be glad” Psalm 34:2-3, Complete Jewish Bible.

Let me ask you some honest questions. What is most of your conversation and your thoughts spent on? Are most of your thoughts on the problem or on God and His answer? Do you talk more about what they did than what God can do? Do you spend more of your breath talking about the devil or what God has in store for you? It takes maturity, but praise the Lord at all times. No matter where you are or the conditions you face, the devil is never given the whole of your conversation. The Lord has your words, and you praise Him only with them. Make Him bigger. Make His love and favor toward you bigger than what you face.

Don’t give your conservation to the enemy. Fill your conversation with the boast of God. Be thankful and magnify His name. It’s one thing to acknowledge a problem or issue. It is another thing to live in it and exalt it. Even in the midst of a trying experience, you engage God and say you are able, Father. I will live and not die to declare the works of the Lord! God is going to come through for me and my family. He has never let me down. Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith, and let it be overwhelmingly made known that you have the victory.

Prayer: Father, I say yes. I will praise you at all times! When I boast, I will boast on you, not the problem. Not the enemy. It’s you that is able and on my side. You are always fighting for me. If I’ve even been complaining, change my conservation to thankfulness. Help me change my thoughts and put them on you and your never-failing word. I will bless you today and speak life. I will live my best life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
