“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses” 1 Timothy 6:12, NKJV.
I once heard a great quote: “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog” -Mark Twain. This is true. I would say further that it is not the size of your situation, but the size of your faith within it. The best choice you can make right now is to fight with your faith.
Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith, and your faith in God will see you through to the finish. Keep believing for what He promised you. Don’t quit because you don’t see anything yet. Your faith will award you the victory. The situation may feel rough; however, it is no match for your God and what He can do. He will not fail you. He will keep His word. When you hold fast to what is good, you will watch your victories come in by the droves in this season of your life.
You may ask yourself, “how can I strengthen my faith?” Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). His word is powerful and able to make your faith strong within your heart.
Feeling like God has left you? God promises, “I will never leave you, nor forsake you,” according to Hebrews 13:5.
Needing provision? “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” according to Philippians 4:19.
Feeling intimidated? He tells us, “Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world,” according to 1 John 4:4.
Fighting against laziness? Proverbs 10:4 says, “He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.”
God will do what He said He will do. He is a good God, and He wants you to put your total trust in Him and fight the good fight of faith!
Prayer: Father, I praise You! I have the victory through Christ Jesus, and I fight with faith. You have already won the battle for me. I already have what I need. Nothing is too hard for You, according to Jeremiah 32:17. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, according to Philippians 4:13. I will overcome through You. Continue to lead me until I possess the victorious outcome You’ve promised me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
