“Do not call to mind the former things; pay no attention to things of old. Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert” Isaiah 43:18-19, Berean Study Bible.
Sometimes our good can hinder our great. You did a lot in the past, you conquered many mountains, and you accomplished much in God. Yet, you can’t allow the glory of the past to hold your best days. You are still here; therefore, God has more in store for you. More for you to see. He has more mountains to climb. He has more of the kingdom for you to advance. Those moments were great and should never be forgotten. Yet, you have new days for new moments in Him.
In this season, step into the new moments the Father has for you.
Prayer: Father, thank You for your word. I ask that You help me to let go of the good in my past and embrace the great things before me. Let me not limit You to my old glory days. Be glorified this year. Help me go on into the new moments you have waiting for me. Help me to trust You every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
