Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

March 11, 2022

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old” Isaiah 43:18, ESV.

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful” Colossians 3:15, ESV.

Do you know you can lose control of your vehicle swatting at flies? People can say or do things, even unintentionally, but God is still on the throne. Let the small stuff go. Don’t let something small be big in your life. Don’t major in the minors.

Let the peace of God rule in your heart because you are truly too blessed. There are much more important things happening around you and in you. There’s too much new to hold on to the old. Be quick to forgive, quick to repent, and keep moving into the destination God has for you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for helping me not sweat the small stuff. I’m blessed, and I’m thankful. Help me to let the peace of God rule in my heart. Help me not to worry about what I can’t control. I choose love. I will forgive freely and let go of the old, and I’m breaking forth into the new. I will keep moving toward the destination and the plans You have for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
