“For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him” Psalm 103:11, NKJV.
I don’t know what you may be going through in your life, but as you wake up and begin your day, take a moment when you go outside and look up. Look at the sky and try to see the farthest thing you can in sight. Now consider the heavens that are so much higher than the earth. That’s how great the mercy of God is toward those who reverence and serve Him.
You can try to understand how can your heavenly Father love you like this, but you won’t be able to. You can’t fathom how much God loves you. No matter what you’ve done, it won’t ever exceed the mercies of God, which are new every single morning you wake up.
Let go of any heaviness and let your mouth and thoughts become full of praise. Give way to a deep gratitude. Surely, there is good in this life for you. Surely, He has an unstoppable plan for you. Surely, He’s going to fix it. The Father desires that you live each day free with a mighty hope in Him and joy from what Jesus has done.
Prayer: Father, I praise you. I wake up with a deep gratitude. Thank you for your great mercy toward me. I can’t fathom it. No matter what I go through, help me to always look up and receive your new mercies each day and that you are holding my life. Thank you, Jesus, for giving your life for me. I receive your joy, peace, and strong hope today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
