Do what you were born to do!

July 24, 2022

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]” Ephesians 2:10, Amplified.

It feels good to do what you were born to do. There’s no other feeling like it. We were all born to tell of God and make a difference in this world for His glory. To make something better–to make someone, anyone, better. How you do that is up to what God put in your hands to do it with, but whatever it is, get to using it, brother!

It will be the ride of your life–the happiest moments of your life. The fulfillment from serving and blessing others is truly unmatched with uncontainable joy! I’ve never been more proud to have brought someone to know Jesus, to have changed the course of someone’s life, to have given someone the momentum they needed to move forward. I may never know that person, but I do know someone out there who decided not to give up on life because I obeyed God to do what I was born to do.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the encouragement to do what I was born to do. Since You created me, You know what you created me for. Show me, Father. Help me to discover me. Cause me to make a difference. Use it for Your glory and for others to come to know Jesus and Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
