“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith'”, Romans 1:17, NKJV.
“Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip” Hebrews 2:1, KJV.
I haven’t been in the gym in a while, but I got back into it. It was challenging, but I had to pick it back up again.
That’s how it can be to live a daily life by faith and not by sight. We recognize some things we let slip, but God helps us pick them back up again. You used to live by faith, but you notice you’ve been leaning on your own understanding in your decisions. You went back to being comfortable and settling on where your life is right now. Somehow, on the inside, fear or pride is impacting what you say and do. Pick back up living by faith again. It may be challenging, but you were meant to live above issues and trouble powerfully. You’re called to a place of rest, advancing the kingdom, and to find your safety in the name of the Lord!
Get back to living by faith, allowing the Holy Spirit to direct your path. Live by faith in your marriage, your finances, and those dreams of purpose God has given you. If you put them on the shelf, pick them up again by faith. Exalt God’s word to have final authority in your life. Anxiety will say you have to worry, but faith says everything will be alright–and that’s what you live by.
Prayer: Father, I give you all the praise! Thank you for speaking to me. I have faith in you, but your desire is I live a blessed life by that same faith. Help me to live by faith and not by sight. I humble myself and submit to will for me. If there’s anything I’ve let slip in my life, I thank you for helping me to get back to living by faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
