“As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more” Psalm 103:15-16, NKJV.
This year may have just started, but don’t let it get away from you. Our days are as a flower and as grass. They are here one day and then they are gone. It makes me think about various flowers and roses that I’ve purchased for my wife. As much as I try to keep them alive, they are going to pass away. They have their time. Then, they have to go–and they wither away. As beautiful as they are, they spread their life out wide, they reach their peak of bloom and bless us, then their gone.
We have to remember that our lives are just like that. Just as they flourish and reach their potential, so are God’s plans for you. His will is that you spread your life out wide and reach your full bloom, being everything God called you to be. Bless the world with your awesome life. Press toward advancing the kingdom. Reach your full potential in God, and make your impact. Leave your mark.
Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me and reminding me how short life is. Some are leaving before me and I realize I have to press after everything You desire for me. Help me not let the year get away from me and get sidetracked. May I write down the vision and run with it. I declare I will flourish and reach my full potential in You. I will leave my mark. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
