“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD” Psalm 112:7 KJV.
“My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net” Psalms 25:15, ESV.
In life, it can be easy to have our eyes fixed on the problem because it’s right before us. It’s so easy to look at the situation and become overwhelmed, discouraged, and feel as though there’s no hope.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. The devil wants to use your current situation to distract your eyes from looking unto God. He wants to distract your ears from hearing God because if you can hear God, you’ll hear a word in season of direction. He’ll remind you of who you are. If you set your eyes on the Lord, He will show you what your end will be and encourage you to put all your confidence in Him.
Don’t focus on the problem. Be still and know that He is always your God. Fix your praise and your eyes on Jesus, and you will see every answer you need is in Him. You’ll see the way He has already made for you.
Prayer: Father, thank you! I’m not looking at the problem. My eyes are on you, Jesus. Help me to fix my heart and keep my eyes on how great You are. How good you are. My eyes are on how faithful You are. I set my faith and my life on you. My heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
