“Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah” Psalm 62:8, NKJV.
You know, you can be real and honest with God. There is no sugar-coating needed. Like opening up a bottle of water and pouring it into a glass, you can be real and pour out everything to the Father regarding your entire life. You may have frustrations you’re dealing with. You’re trying to be a pillar for your family. With all the provision you need, it’s hard to believe right now and you’re fighting to trust that God will provide. Tell Him that. Tell Him all of your struggles, all of your problems, your marriage. He’s God and He already knows, but like a good Father, He wants you to come to Him. Don’t be open about surface things with God, but be silent about where you really are. Don’t hold that in, but empty it all out on Him.
He is a safe place for a man to open up to. He is your safety net, your refuge and peace. Then, watch Him move and refresh you, and give the counsel and navigation you need to get through it.
Prayer: Father, I praise You today. According to Your word, I pour out to You. Here is everything. I’m being real and honest Lord. It’s hard right now. Cause me to hear You pour into me that everything’s going to be alright! Refresh me. You didn’t bring me this far to leave me. I praise You now and I thank You for making me an overcomer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
