When you’re fed up.

December 29, 2022

“Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God— soon I’ll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He’s my God” PPsalm 42:11, Message Bible.

Sometimes, it takes getting fed up to change. We can get fed up with many things, but there’s nothing like getting tired of circumstances always determining whether you’re happy.

I believe the Lord is putting a smile on your face, not your circumstance or outcome. You are fed up with your situation having that much control over you. You’re fed up with being shut up. You are making a decision that you’ve been disquieted long enough, and you will choose hope in your moment. You are blessed in Christ. Put on your favorite song and praise God. Tell the Lord his praises will continually be in your mouth! Tell him no matter what, I’m not tapping out on you! I declare you are inspired to live, reminded that God is too good to let you down. Whether you have two million dollars or two dollars, whether God changes it or not, you choose joy and victory.

Prayer: Father, I praise you and give you all the glory. I’m fed up with circumstances controlling me. No more! I have freedom, and I am blessed in Christ, no matter what. You are my joy! I will smile today. I will live today. Whether what I’m experiencing changes or not, my hope is in you! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
