A New You

October 2, 2022

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?…” Isaiah 43:19, ESV.

“And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do” Jeremiah 18:4, ESV.

God spoke to me at the beginning of the year and told me this would be a year of new things and permanent change. One of the greatest things about what He spoke was He said there would be a new you.

He’s making a new you. There’s a new change He’s doing in your heart and mind, your outlook on life, your contentment, new freedom, and most of all, your love for God. God has already done new things in your life, but He’s not done yet. He’s still at work, and you can discern you’re right at the cusp for more that He’s completing. There’s even a new man emerging from the trials you’ve been through. Let Him keep working in you. Keep saying yes to His will.

Don’t stop pressing forward in God until you see a new you.

Prayer: Father, thank You that what You speak always comes to pass. This is a year of new things and permanent change. I ask that You do a new thing in me. I desire a new man to break forth. Change me permanently as I surrender to Your will. By the time this year is over, I will see a new me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
