”Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it” 1 Corinthians 9:24 NKJV.
I have to admit that the Lord asked me to do something two weeks ago, and I still haven’t done it. It’s not that I don’t want to do it or even plan on doing it; I just haven’t. God is ready to bless me, yet my pace is honestly holding it all up.
Sometimes, it’s not our race. It’s our pace. You know what God has told you to do. He gave you the instructions, and the dream is before you. The Lord is ready to bring it to pass. We have the plan, yet it’s the pace at which we are moving to execute that plan.
Be encouraged to pick up the pace. If God has placed on your heart anything He wants you to do in order to bring His great plans to pass, go ahead and do it. Move beyond just the spiritual aspect of what you believe God wants you to receive and walk in. The practical side of it is also important. You just don’t want to know the dream but experience it also.
Prayer: Father, help me pick up the pace. You’ve shown me and told me what to do, help me to do it. Whether it’s something spiritual or some natural, practical steps I need to make, I thank you for the wisdom to get it done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
