“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8, ESV.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock” Isaiah 26:4, ESV.
Trusting God can be hard sometimes, but that is where your faith becomes like the Rock you stand on. It is because we end up coming to a resolve. No matter what His will is, what God decides to do or not do, how He’s working a situation out, your resolve is to trust Him.
When you come to a resolved trust, your faith has a made-up mind and heart. You say to yourself I’m not going back and forth about this. No more of not living free due to being overly concerned about His outcome.
Whether God does it or He doesn’t, your resolve is to trust Him. Whether God heals them or He decides to take them home, your resolve is to trust Him. God affirmed His love toward you through the giving of His Son, so in tough moments, you can let go and still trust Him.
Prayer: Father, I thank you that you love me, and you have a plan for me. You are my Rock and Shield. You are my Banner of victory. Your will be done, Father. Whatever you want to do. I give it all to you today and I will walk with rock-like faith in you. Help my resolve be right now to trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
