Look around. I am sure you have a lot to be grateful for. An attitude of gratitude will go a long way. It will cause the Lord to take you somewhere in your day that, based on your bank account and circumstance, it would appear like you couldn’t reach. How do you have joy after a mistake? How can you be content where you are and in a situation you’re required to wait to get out of? How can you have a great day with only a dime in your pocket? Gratitude.
Tell God you are grateful in it. Tell Him you’re grateful for Jesus and His love. Grateful that He has a purpose and plan for you. You are abundantly grateful for all His ways. Grateful that your spouse is still here with you and that the Father keeps and ministers those that don’t. So grateful He works everything out for your good. Grateful because it could be worse. It, too, shall pass. Grateful for life.
There are some things you don’t have, but there is plenty that you do. Pick up your gratitude, and walk out the amazing day God has ordained for you.
Prayer: Father, I praise you! I’m so grateful. I look around and see that I’m blessed right where I am. I’m grateful that You cause me to rise above rough moments and get me through them every time. Help me to pick up gratitude and always have an outlook of contentment and faith. You have great things in store for me today. I will live this great day in Christ, being grateful. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
