“Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:5, NKJV.
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7, NKJV.
When the enemy comes–and he will–to plant a seed of doubt in your heart, you have a choice to not receive it. Just as a FedEx package brought to your house that you don’t have to sign for and make it your own, don’t make what he offers your own.
Let only God be the One that you receive from through His word. Let Him be the only One you receive from when He speaks to your heart and says have hope. With diligence keep your heart, cast away with force, and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and stand in who you are and what you have in Him–stand until your blessing comes.
Prayer: Father, I praise You. I will not receive what the devil says about my life and who I am. I cast away and I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Even if I don’t feel like it, I receive what You say about me and the victory I have in Jesus in every situation. You say I am great, I am Your son and I was made with purpose and I receive it. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
