Pray until peace comes.

December 28, 2023

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬.

If you feel anxious, pray until peace comes. If you are worrying, pray until peace comes. If you have concerns or need vision for your days ahead, pray until peace comes. Peace is God-given, but you must first give Him your prayers with thanksgiving.

You notice God says nothing about how He answers your request that gives you peace. He alone is Jehovah Shalom–The Lord our Peace. Your answer may not arrive in your hands yet, but His peace is assigned to guard your heart and mind until it does.

When you have Jesus, the Prince of Peace, how He will work it out won’t be what gives you peace. You will know in your spirit through your prayers that He will. Somehow, He will. His way, He will. Just as you took loads of food home for Christmas, don’t leave prayer without a load of peace that you know He is God, and everything will be alright!

Prayer: Father, I thank you. I will not be anxious. I will not worry about the situation. I pray right now, and I lift it all to you. As I pray, remind me that you are God and can do anything. You said to ask in your name, and I will receive it. Your ears are attentive to the prayers of the righteous. As I give you my prayers, I rejoice that you are giving me loads of peace. Supernatural peace. The peace that isn’t fair to the enemy. You desire to give me great peace today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
