Pray this with me: Father, I praise you. I ask that you teach me how to be your son today. How to trust you and how to let go. Teach me how to manage my time while I have it. My greatest desire is to live completely for you. Teach me how to slow down and seek your wisdom for me, and how to see your promise at work in spite of the pain. Show me how to be consistent in my walk and not assume the worst but to believe the best. Teach me to love without reason. Teach me to breathe when much is required of me. You made me a man, which means I can be a man. I am a strong one. I can change. I can love you with everything I have and love my wife dearly. Teach me not to hold grudges. Show me how not to be too proud to ask and take advice from another man. Help me learn how to ask for help. Teach me how to be a good father. Show me how to accept and love me. Lead me on how to share Jesus and step into something new. Teach me to be obedient when it’s inconvenient. Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight. Teach me how to live a joy-filled life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
