“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him…” Colossians 2:6-7 NKJV.
“Do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you” Romans 11:18 NKJV.
I was outside doing some yard work, and I couldn’t get over how many roots I was seeing. This happened after we had our backyard cleared out of trees and stomps.
Now is the time to have strong roots. He’s making you to have a strong root system. Roots that run deep in Jesus. Roots that run deep in faith. Roots that run deep in joy. Planted in His house, and rooted in His word. Seek to know just how deep and wide God’s love is for you. Your root system will not only determine your ability to stand strong in adversity, but also your ability to go higher.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for making me a tree of righteousness to grow higher in You. Make me to know how wide and deep Your love is. Help my roots to run deep and strong in Christ in every way. I declare because I am rooted in Him, I shall not be moved and I will yield great fruit for Your glory in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
